i got an achievment today and it looks like the old version for how yo are awarded achievments is back? if this is just a glitch well that sucks but if it is actually back then thank you kano EDIT: not sure why it pput the image up twise one as an image and then one as an atchment and it wont let me get rid of the atachment
Achievements are still the same box. The box that changed is the skills box when you add to them if you would have clicked on the increase your skills tab it would have shown you the new box they created for skills and adding them.
no the way you get achievments was supose to change as well. the achievment is supose to show on the same page as the skill points. they did this so people would start spending their SP more often and not hoard it because knao felt that people werent spending them enough.
Well Kano won't be in today, so wait till tomorrow, I am not gonna search for the thread about it, either way I don't see a big deal,I get achievements all the time, I barely notice how the page looks , I just like the achievements when they show up, if I get any today I will double check, but Jon is right you do have to click "Increase your skills" and that newer layout does show up.

I believe that was them just showing what they meant by it. Every new achievement i have received and i have seen others post is still the same ole same ole been that way since they rolled out the skill allocator box.
I am fine with either way, not any problem and no preference for me either way,but Neil you always have ideas for new features ,I would think you would like Kano's new idea. lol JK .
lol, its not that i dislke it i just wish there was an option... that would be my idea but they shot it down saying they dont want to support that option so i have to live with the new version i guess lol. but at least i got one last look at how it use to be, guess they are just taunting me or something EDIT: and if anybody is wondering why the words are in a grey box it is becuase befoere i took the screenshot i copy and paste what the achievment was into my armada feed. and i relized after that forgot to unhighlight it before i took the pic
Sorry Neill I did not intend to shoot down your idea from a few weeks back. I believe I was referring to supporting both the old style skill allocator along with the new one, not the achievement modal itself. Likely a miscommunication on my end of things. The change you are seeing is that any achievement that has Skill Points associated with it was forcing the achievement to display the skill allocator as well. This was a bit of an oversight on our part in how this was going to affect play. So as of about 6pm Pacific yesterday we reverted the achievement modal back to the old style provided you are not a brand new player. Sorry for the delay and miscommunication but I hope you enjoy the change. Happy New Year
