MySpace Update:Feedback Section About Games

There seems to be something up with MySpace right now. They changed something on their askmyspace main pace with Red words in a statement about something new coming up. They also changed wordings on their site about them listening to their members from their Feedback page. If that is the case? We might be seeing a lot of features brought back like blogs, events, concerts, old inbox messages and all that, games and so forth. If they do bring the games back? Members who did not have a chance of given their email address and password for the game might be able to get the chance to do it again. They are getting a bad press right now that is spreading like wildfire. Myspace is in damage control right now with the media and lawsuits pending on them. They deleted a lot of stuff from comedians as well that are part of their act.

 

Okay, not everybody had the chance to get into their game to get email and password set up. If Myspace do return the games? This would give Kano and the players who have not got on a chance to get the rest of the stragglers to come to Kanoplay.

 

Any players who have not gotten into their games, can write to support and Melanie will help them.

 

why bring myspace back it is nothing but full of freakin drama i prefer to stay on kanoplay an at least u dont have to worry about no updates so much espically when it slows your gameplay down each time so i would have to recommend at staying at kanoplay it is alot safer an u wont lose your acct bc of there updates...so i still have too say thing great kano im glad u help me out on the new site of yours lol...winks

 

Great to hear! Make sure to do your best to pull in alliances that either were playing or inactive.

We will likely provide some updates in our TGIF, but since hooking in registration we are already at 4x the registrations we were getting on MySpace, so the future looks good! So for us, even if MySpace did enable games again would only use that to help transfer players to Kano Play.

There can still be some more work to help get players (both inactive and active) tied into their MS account on Kano Play and that's where players can help spread the message.

 

Yes the new myspace is a lot better..I hope they can catch up with facebook now.

Like we mentioned previously, we are already at 4x the number of daily installs we were getting from MySpace and are steadily getting back to where we were pre-MySpace shutdown.

Over the next 3 months we have some exciting plans to help push even more new players through, stay tuned!

 

I'm pretty sure a lot of those are people just starting again, I know many that have opted to start again instead of going through support.

 

Well get them to write in, especially if they have a bunch of time or $$ invested into their character.

Majority of new sign-ups are coming through some new distribution channels.

 

I wish it was that easy dealing with the "I want it now" generation, lol they can submit a ticket and wait a few days or just start again "NOW!"

If I can convince a few to write in...what happens with the accounts they've just made? will they be overwritten or banned for being an alt? lol

 

It is up to them, they won't have to create a new Kano Play account but we will likely just merge it to their old MS account and the new MS character will live on with no one playing it.
