only if they cost you upkeep and youre not using them...any adventure drop that costs upkeep and isnt used in the blacksmith should be removed
I for 1 will never remove any item that can't be bought ever again. New adventures have been put in FB VC 2 different times in old locations and I had removed items that weren't used, but they then were needed to do the new adventures. Had to do multiple adventures to get items back to do those new adventures, plus you never know they might get added into blacksmithing in the future.
those old adventures dont use much energy at all if that ever happens again which i highly doubt it will but to each his own
Ya never know when something may be used in crafting, but if it has upkeep and ya have something to replace it, then consider selling it off, but really check out what you use and don't use and what can be helpful , in the near future. And it depends what you mean by surplus. But a goal most/many have is to get rid of upkeep to keep your list price high.

like i said in my earlier post, get rid of any old adventure drops that are costing you upkeep...at your level and higher, even IF they make new blacksmith items that use all that old crap it will be useless to you...that much i can guarantee

You obviously cannot get more that the maximum allowed, but you can upgrade what you have. Of the 20,000 warriors or 10,000 weapons there is probably considerable room for reducing the number of surplus warriors and weapons by trading in for ones with higher attack and/or defence at the blacksmith. So, in a sense, you can still increase your overall attack and defence statistics even though you have the max by constant upgrading. Beware though.....check with a calculator first if the apparent 'upgrade' actually makes you stronger or weaker. Sometimes it is better not to move to 'elite' or 'legendary' as it will make you weaker overall. Just because the blacksmith offers you the chance to upgrade something does not mean that it is in you interest to do so. It depends what level you are and what you have already.
mo more Elite and Legendary downgrade? Just noticed that the Elite and Legendary downgrade its no more available, I hope that this is a bug, as I cant find any announcement about this update
