[ZS] Crafting "Tweak"

    Okay, here's my attempt to try and make crafting useful for ZS.

    Once you craft an item, 3 special "artifacts" will be revealed to you(all different depending on what you crafted). Each of these 3 items can be used to edit the items stats in a certain way.
    As an example, lets use the "Bayou Submarine - 82 Attack - 71 Defense"
    One of these artifacts will change the crafted items stats to rig them to be all attack.(152 Attack - 1 Defense)
    One of these artifacts will change the crafted items stats to rig them to be all defense.(1 Attack - 152 Defense)
    One of these artifacts will change the crafted items stats to rig them to be completely balanced.(77 Attack - 76 Defense)
    In the event that there is an odd number of hit points on an item, the stat that was already more prominent will receive the extra hit point for balanced items.

    It would cost 5 UN plus whatever cash Kano wants to charge to make one of these items.

    Note: Using one artifact will only change one weapon. So If I really wanted to I could have 10 attack heavy subs, 10 defense heavy subs, and 10 balanced subs.

    As long as you have the proper artifact you can change a weapon's stats as many times as you want. This may not be extremely useful to people that have all UN items, but it's not intended to be stronger than a special limited weapon you pay for with favor points. This could be what it takes to actually make crafting useful in this game.

    Also, maybe the hidden blueprints could get a bigger boost from their artifacts?

    Let me know what you think of all this.

    You realize this would totally defeat the purpose of buying up limited items right?

    sorry Im not exactly looking for people to trump my inventory that i paid real cash for, with stuff they got with game cash.

    I wouldnt mind the world boss stuff being a little stronger, because of the way its set up, You have to collect 10 of each item to get the one that compares to a UN item, which means you would have to been at that required level for the item for 10 months for 1 item.

    If you want to make craft items useful in zs, just simply make a way to use more of them. I suggested an idea like that and it got no votes, no comments nothing.

    Spike Pistol

    Slasher Axe (Level 4)
    259 Attack
    89 Defense
    Owned: 1

    Proto Knife (Level 3)
    255 Attack
    105 Defense
    Owned: 29

    It definitely wouldn't defeat the purpose of buying POWERFUL items. Sure if you buy the weaker UN items then it's a possibility that switching the stats to all attack, then the attack stat will be slightly higher.

    Astro Rifle
    176 176

    That's the balanced weapon. If you balance your crafting weapon example it's nowhere near as good as that Item. If you want to stay ahead with attack then do what I did and buy a bunch of attack heavy items. If you want to stay ahead in defense then buy a bunch of defense heavy items. I realize where you're coming from, but the crafting tweak items aren't meant to be so cheap either. I actually meant to put in that crafting one of these items would cost 5 UN(+ cash), but I just looked back and realized I forgot that part. I'm going to do it now.

    The item I posted was not a UN item, its a craft item. fully polarized that would give you 208 value in one direction. althought there are many UN items that are stronger than that. How much stronger are they? 31 more un for 51 points stronger per item?

    This idea implemented i need 70 of each item, one for attack, one for defense for each spot.

    70X5= 350un
    70x30=2100un

    It degrades the value of limited items greatly no matter how you slice it my friend.

    now, If there where more items available to use, I could surly fit some of the crafting stuff into my inventory, and not lose the value of buying the limited items because they would still have the same advantage over the boss/craft items.

    Thats what I came up with, seems nobody was interested.

    Not a fan of the militia. Part of the reason I like ZS so much is because it depends on your skill points instead of the items more than any of the other games.
    This was nothing more than an idea on how to make crafting worthwhile, but at the same time not radically changing the game.

    That would be hard. Having to upgrade your weapons with artifacts THOUSANDS of times.
