We have had a number of players suggest they'd like a way to way World Boss items more useful, and as such we will be adding the ability to craft World Boss items, similar to how boss drop crafting currently works. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the process, a quick explanation: You will be able to craft a certain number of the same drop into a stronger version of that item. You can also uncraft the stronger item back into the regular drops by using the reverse crafting recipe for that item. There will be 2 tiers of craftable drops. For example: x regular items -> 1 cooler item x cooler items -> 1 coolest item If you have any questions about the process, please post them below.
so it appears we are still wasting developer/programmer time on a facet in the game that is quite useless in the game.... brilliant
Might be useless in ZS,but the other 3 it can be helpful. Maybe for ZS UN and loyalty items should get upgraded past level 4.
@Slave While we can appreciate that many players in ZS don't find crafting particularly useful, this was something that has been requested by a number of players in our other games.
after double upgrading them cant they at least be "awesome" Wb? and not a let us down sort of awesome, The sort of awesome that I know you can provide!!!!
@Eraser We never aim for let you down awesome, as that sucks. I'm not much of a numbers guy, but my understanding is that they'll be much more useful. @Demonik Very soon! (This went out for LCN last night, and will go out for the other games soon.)
Well I spent a fair amount of time crafting the new weapons for the world boss items and can say they are definitely useful. The stats I have seen are better than the majority of the other crafted items. I will even go so far as to say most world boss crafted items have better numbers than crafted items from the Madrid boss fight.
@PaganWench The recipes should show in the location that the World Boss is in. For example, the recipes for the rewards from the Giant Kraken are under the East Tortuga recipes.
so just for the hell of it, since ive never crafted anything cuz its overpriced and obsolete, i crafted the Optimal Human Cannon (Level 2) 127 (+2 Increase) 117 (+2 Increase) and am currently in the process of upgrading it.... so first....every time i click on it, i get computer lock up and have to refresh (minor coding error there) second, you have to be level 2535 to craft this "awesome" item.... after full upgrading it will fall short of making my weapons list by a mere 50 pts..... really? you have to wait till level 2535 only to find out it still wont make your list and only 29 people in the game can craft this, and not a single one will make anyones list.... i would not define that as awesome.... but thats my opinion
Kinda lame for zs, Helps some of my rivals catch up to the inventory I paid cold hard cash for, but has 0 value for me. It'd be differnt if I played one of those games that uses thousands of items. My minimum use values for any item are about 160, If Thees items where polarized I could look forward to crafting them. I suppose all those folks that bought up items 2 years ago and are upset they're stuff is outdated will be happy.
