[PC] Adventure Help

This may have already been discussed and if it has, I apologize. Having said this, what I would like to see increased is the amount of times one can help with adventures.

You have already helped the maximum of 30 friends in the past 22 hours. You may help out more friends in 17 hours.

I don't mind not receiving any more xp or coins after helping 30 friends, but for many of us who have large clans it would be nice to have the ability to help more.

 

I so totally agree....after I help Armada Members and Alliance Members...leaves lil of any clan I may help..and it is "Pirate Clan"...plural, so usually clan members get left out... seems sad to me....I rate it 10... I help all I can so they may advance in the game, and I don't need anymore xp or coins after the 30....just wanna be able to lend a helping hand!

And this also happens in the Calendar's, after you help so many yer xp goes down but yer still able to help ..which is what I would like to see implemented

 

It has been discussed about the 3 day calendars many times and the reason why it will not be increased.

 

I like the idea and rate it 10 stars.

i give it a 10 because 30 is just to low of an amount to help all that help you

 

I am surprised it posted I was having a problem posting and then had to go back to driving, I will try to find that info.

There is a posting by Smack in there explaining the issue. However there was another posting which i can't find just yet because it wasn't labeled with the calender issue at the time explaining why they can't revert it at this present time.

[PC] Developer Update - May 24th Challenge Help Bonus Fix
Today we closed a "hole" in the game with challenge help that could be abused and was being abused under certain circumstances, we were notified through support channels by some concerned players and after taking a closer look we had to take action to impose limits on the bonuses as we do in every other help feature in the game. This was overlooked by the developer responsible for this feature and I apologize for it being open for so long.

Players will now receive maximum bonus for the first 25 challenge helps in a 24-hr period and will receive 1 XP for all helps after.

What is the harm of not having any limits? Well, people potentially could create automation to aggregate help links from all their friends, suck down a bunch of "free" XP and level without actually really playing the game. Having players high in the game without actually playing the game (outbreaks, fights, bosses, challenges) is something that I think everyone can agree we want to avoid.

That being said, those players that are upset with this change that was not abusing it, there are still plenty of areas to get bonus XP from outbreak help, boss help, world boss help and challenge help.

Today we also released bonus XP for repeat attacks on the World Boss which will hopefully offset the players that were not abusing this feature to make up any losses and add further incentive to go after the world bosses.

We thank you for your understanding while trying to keep Pirate Clan a fun, fair, balanced and competitive game.

If you have constructive input we would like to hear it, but going back to unlimited help is not an option since it has been found to be opened up to abuse.

- first 50 Helps in a 24-hr period will reward maximum XP bonus
- helps from 51 to 75 will degrade linearly to 1 XP
- helps beyond 75 in a 24-hr period will reward 1 XP

I hope players see this as a fair compromise to the original change and with the potential abuse that could happen without imposing a limit.

Not sure I was being clear with my 1st post...I thought, from the the original Post as meaning 30 helps on an Adventure wasn't enough and if more were added as in the 3-day Calendars, where after so many you get 1xp but yer clan member get's the benefit of you helping them, the Pirate helping wouldn't get xp or coins only the recipient would...just to b able to help more of yer clan..I am good with receiving less if it means I can help more

As the Calendar go...I have heard people complain (1 xp what the heck Kano)...but it's about helping yer clan is what I thought and I click all that are on the feed even if I get only 1 xp, but I understand how it could b abused.

We used to only have like 10 or 15 Adventure helps cant remember exactly, and Kano increased that to 30....maybe another increase is due...I sure would welcome it.

Thank you, for all of your comments and information. To clarify, I wasn't asking that we be compensated any additional xp or coins once we have helped 30 friends with their adventures. Keep that cap on. What I would like to see implemented is the ability to continue helping all of our friends who have requested for "adventure" help. Stop rewarding us after we have reached the maximum allotted but allow us to help further friends, if we so choose. And for no other reason than to simply help others.

 

Giving a 1 simply because 30 is plenty.

Way back when,it was only 3 maximum.

Then it went to 6,followed by 10,a few more after,and finally ending at 30.


30 is more than enough,increasing it more will cause off balance in the game.

 

1 star also, 30 is enough, even if you helped someone and got no xp you would be taking a spot from someone who can . just like with the calendars when you reach 1 xp , stop and let others help who can receive the xp both ways. I doubt anyone unless they just started the game does not have 30 people to help on the adventure I do it for the xp I get, not necessarily to help others ,Hey but that's just me




The info given about calendar/challenge xp was in answer to what I thought Polish wanted to know.

 

Hmm I think I vote for the off in balance in the game gaining 0 or 1 xp points just to help my clan members. It is not uncommon to have adventure help not completed. I see this way even if you are just helping for your own xp then stop at 30 or what ever. I personally do it to help my clan members. It is always sad to see clan members that have adventure helps listed that you know have been there for more than a day and you can not help them because you have reached the max. When I go into help with adventures I will always start with my Armada first, then my clan members that have me in their inner circle, then in my inner circle. It is rare that I have ever made it past the clan members that have me in their inner circle in the adventure help. Always can with the challenge help. I get to help all of my clan members that need it. If you miss the points because someone else helped them then maybe just maybe log in more often or check it more often. My vote is to increase even if it means I get only 1 point starting at 31.

 

Well I fer one in PC, have had Pirate's message me and want help whether it b Adventure, Calendar or Challenge help...I have also saw messages on the feeds...("Free xp" please help below) most have lives and can't play long enough to maybe level if their help was finished...so helping those to advance is my reasoning while they are on the game.

All Adventure help are on time limits so if your time is limited one day you lose out on the help you maybe could of received if we have more allotted Adventure helps available to us...we all play different.

I help when and where I can...oh did I say my nickname is lil Miss Click...lol gets me in trouble as well

in all do fairness to the part timers who play the game need to pick up on there game play...

 

wow really then why do we have 2000 captains and only 30 adventure back the truck up, lets just try to think it out is this really ben or a different ben I dont know anymore

 

10 STARZ here, but as was said above after 30 is helping your clan/captains/mob and the helper gets no benefit from it

 

I don't know Ben , but I feel pretty much the same.
