So first for the positives.... I havent tripped the throttle yet no slowdown on my account i have heard others tripping the throttle and being slowed down Now, wtf is going on with killing people and getting the health reward, and then a few minutes later to see the health reward has been deducted off your account?????? Its happened twice to me this arena, ive never seen it before, i know im not the only one that it is happening to. If its being deducted off my account, then where is it going? Lastly got three mmmmm brains messages when i ramped up attacking. ???????? is that the new version of the throttle? hope you get this straightened out, your losing people playing arena too i dont have to give you many guesses as to why.....
The mmmmmmm brains message happened to me. I was throttled(minimally though). I was slowed down. I've had the kill reward deducted. I've actually had a certain amount of xp taken away from me. I had leveled, then it put me back to the position I was in about 30 seconds before.
i hate to say this but very happy no slowdown,no timeout, only about 5hours of play... very happy i wish i didnt have to go shopping i would had finished better but i do so i killed my self off. found some1 i non stop leveled on 7k attacks on 1 person tryed my hardest to get timedout nothing so thank u kano.. i was going 4 a snipe and the person was at 3mil health it jumped up to 10mil health and the person wasn't on to attack gain health it was weird my only issue
You hate to say you're happy? lol I don't see the problem. I actually have been fairly happy with this arena. Only 4 throttle trips and it took a while to get them. Slowdown robbed me twice, but both times I got slowed down I did a quick computer reset and I was back to full speed. The kill reward and xp was only a minor glitch, both only happened to me once and it didn't affect me much. I've run into some problems, but it's nice to see the game improving a bit. I actually made a post where I thanked Kano about the decreased throttle(though I'd like to see it gone completely).
None of these things should be happening. There should be zero throttle trips, zero slowdowns, and there should be no kill reward glitches (if we're calling this a glitch.) It's not back to where it was before the enter key exploit was fixed, none of these things happened before that. As a disclaimer, I was unable to participate in this arena due to timing issues, I'm just going off of what's posted.
Yeah I realize it shouldn't be happening at all, but it has been better and I give credit where it's due.
I have to agree with Slave. I also lost kill rewards. I got a message with DEATHBLOW and got the health and then 1 minute later i was back to my original health. I lost about 350 million in health from doing nothing. I did get the brain message but only a few times and it was pretty early. The attacks were not slow this time which was great.
No throttle but a disturbing amount of losses it's just unreal .......and delighted as I was its disturbing for ppl to be losing a kill and health reward....hopefully a glitch that can be fixed. On a side note the next event is on a major holiday in Europe..........shame that.
Has anyone messaged Support about losing health after getting a kill? That sounds like a bug and something that needs to be reported to Support so Kano can look into it.
i would think about messaging support if they would respond back to me with real information. i provided my account number and details from the last three arenas, and aside from a nice message from dan about my home state, i didnt hear anything regarding as to why i was having the issues i had. But since it seems to be a one way street now with information, i will pass..... it seems petty to do so, but when you provide information with the expectation of receiving something useful back and you dont get much besides can you give us more data???? arena is messed up still, it hasnt been right since they put in the ubiqitous throttle. i have high expecatations from a gaming company that they can get the code right, thats what they do, we provide information and for what? Kano is very smug about their software and how great it is, and if that is true, then why do we have a different set of problems every arena? in the beginning we had none?????????? fix it right or lose us, i think its a pretty straightforward proposal, for some of us it may be too late already enrollment in arena was down 10 percent this last time, coincidence? hardly

The throttle is a problem for very few people. On 2 networks over 6 games, only a hand full of people are having a problem with the throttle, and each Arena it seems to be the same people. As you are one of the players being affected by the Throttle, i can understand you are frustrated and plain pissed off that you can't play Arena the way you want to, but you need to understand this... for all the rest of us know, the players who are hitting the throttle may well be cheating. They can scream bloody murder and post video's and other things showing how fast they click, but the fact is, unless i am in the room with you and watching you play, for all i know you could be cheating. I am not saying any of you are cheating, but i think with how many players playing the Arena, and the small number of people that are having a problem with the throttle, it isn't something i want Kano spending a great deal of time worrying about because it's pretty much doing it's job. If you are done trying to deal with Support because you don't like the replies you get, that is up to. But if i was one of the players affected by the throttle, i wouldn't give a flying crap what Kano sent me back as a reply, i would be spamming their inbox everyday damn day to prove to them i wasn't cheating.
Where did i say that Kano thinks they are cheating? But on that point, why would Kano need to ban anyone while the throttle is doing it's job.
How about watching my video where I show myself getting the throttle with no programs open except firefox and fraps. How am I cheating there? Seriously, how far do I have to go to prove that I'm not cheating?
The throttle feature was implemented when a Player was found doing something Kano felt they should not be doing, back over 4 PC arena's ago, that is how this all came about.
Are you being stupid on purpose? If only a hand full of people are hitting the throttle and none of them are cheating like they claim, how is someone running a bot going to go against it? The point of the throttle is to get as close the what is humanly possible and slow down what goes beyond that. IMO.
Yes, we know. However this exploit is fixed. If you would take 30 seconds of your time(because that's as long as fraps will record video) you can watch as I get the throttle with no bot/autoclicker/hotkey/exploit/ect.
I cannot answer that , that is Kano's department, I was just answering your question as to why there is a throttle I find it interesting that is is the only game that even has anyone hitting the throttle, not sure why that is. Is this game so different?? But one player who does hit it seems to win or rank high anyway, frustrating for those who do, but) IMO) I believe it is to ensure that no one does anything they should not, and we all know if someone finds a way they will try, seems it is human nature.
