[LCN] War Mode Suggestions/Changes

    War mode is again in need of some serious suggestions/changes or it is going to die.

    Here is a list of the current issues as we see them [SAW]

    Between 60-80% of players involved in war mode are below level 300, this creates a huge issue. The issues related to that are as follows. (Also if you wish to dispute that number, I can post our SAW website, or add an excel spreadsheet with everyone in war mode from last week)

    Out of 5 pages of active synds in war modes, about 30% of those synds get 0 points per week​
    Because of the quantity of players below level 300, the players with the highest war point totals are alts. Synds create Alts to list those players under 300 and get 10 war points for listing those players each day.​

    There are also a fairly big number of people in war mode under level 6. There should be a minimum level requirement for war mode​


    Up for discussion on the following, but this is what we would suggest.

    1 . Remove Syndicates from war mode automatically that had zero points from the previous week. If a synd had zero points during the previous week, there should be some sort of penalty time to allow them back into war mode, say 1-2 weeks.

    2. Because teams are stacking up little alts, all players in war mode should be open for attack regardless of the rules that were put in place previously. If a player is in war mode they should expect at least the 5 attacks from everyone in war mode per day

    3. Increase the amount of points for an attack kill. Our suggestion would be to increase the attack kill points from 9 points to 20. Open for negotiation there.

    These are not the only issues there are in war mode, but would at least change some of the ways war mode is currently being exploited. All others feel free to add your suggestions

    Seems like the offending parties choose not to respond because they know it is bull.. Having a synd full of alts and level 100's that wins war mode is somewhat disappointing..

    Also that being said, do the Devs not watch this page??? What is their take. I can't quite they would believe with the results if they understood the issues.

    I'd like to see some response from KANO. There are now multiple groups from the same syndicate in war mode. One group is the main group that is trying to win war mode. The other group is their ALT group, where they can attack their own synd and donate points to their cause. They then can let their alts accumulate cash and then rotate them into the main group to take advantage of this listing problem where Alts can generate more points than anyone in war mode.

    Again, war mode will die if these changes are not addressed. There are a lot of players that enjoy playing in this style, but these issues are making it difficult to continue.

    Agreed, If one chooses to enter war mode they should be open to every player for every type of attack, 5 attacks, 4 punches, 1 List, regardless of their level...

    You have taken similar steps to prevent abuse in the battle arena (you must be minimum level of 750) and if you join, ANYONE can attack you..

    totally agree with mike .
    to make this interesting and get in more syn ( other than the ones full of alts ) to join u have to make changes . i did contact developers at kano 2 months ago and this what they had to say to my following enquiry :-

    it would be very nice for the syndicates in war mode if you removed all syndicates that scored zero points in war mode in the previous season . They are just sitting there doing nothing .

    Thanks for contacting us. We get pretty busy over here and don't normally spend a lot of time looking over the Syndicates, but if you are aware of any specific examples where the members are all inactive, feel free to send me the direct link to their faction and I'll look into it.

    I will also talk to our developers about the possibility of creating an automatic system to turn off War Mode if no points are being earned.

    may be repetitive but my suggestions are as follows
    1 . all syndicates that do not make any points in the previous weak should automatically booted out and not be able to join for at least 2/3 weeks .
    2 all players regardless of their level should be open to all for 5 attacks 4 punches 1 hit list and points be given for that ( currently a lower level mobster can list and get 10 points but in retaliation when a high level mobster lists he does not get points that is if he is able to list the ridiculously lower level player )
    3. players should have to wait at least 2 days before they can join a new syndicate after leaving there old .
    4 war points for losses should be reduced to 1 or 2 instead of 3
    5. an attack kill giving 9 points to the attacker should also be a - 10 to the killed mobster ( will help get rid of most alts )

    Agree with the points Pranav, but I'm also concerned about the ALT Farm group out there now. But if they open up all members for attack, at least it would allow competing groups to get the same amount of points as the main syndicate that has the alt farm syndicate.

    The best I can do for you is show the link for this thread to the Dev's , so on Monday I will give them the link, if they choose to respond that is up to them :) good luck with the idea. not voting as I am do not do the war thing in any game, got enough drama with individuals knuckleheads lol

    best way to save syn wars is to make it more fair....

    it's common knowledge that ppl are using scripts/bots with no Dev intervention. The hitlist is a cash play ground for these ppl. BUT this also results in massive wrps gains for them!.

    9 wrps for each hitlist kill? frig, if the Dev's actualy played this game, they'd realize that there giving enormous advantage to the cheaters!. I understand, yes they made the game, & yes it's an awsome game!. but they tend to forget that there are tons & tons of bot/script users. so either start doing something about it, or start making changes to reflect this. Maybe 2 or 5 wrps for hitlist kills & keep the 10 wrps for listing someone.


    seems more & more lately to be the point. Tell ppl not to cheat or they'll have there account froz, but then allow the cheaters to get away with it? lol just my 2 cents..................

    Great suggestions everyone! We're currently working on something that we believe will make War Mode more competitive and fair, and we've taken community suggestions under consideration while developing this feature. We'll be announcing our preliminary proposal for the feature sometime in the near future, so stay tuned for that!

    Keep in mind, the following is a proposal for Zombie Slayer, however we are considering something similar for the other games once we get the details ironed out for ZS. Take a look, and let us know what you think, although please be respectful of the ZS players as it'll be put into their game first if it's implemented.
