Dead accounts...literally...lets get real Kano

I don't understand the reason Kano will not post the names of the permanent bans...if they are gone there should be no issue...might make us more rececptive to believe. :$ Banned accounts and those that deleted the game stay in the game...it's very deceptive. Personally would like to know if someone in my squad is banned to remove the dead account...........if they are good enough to place on the world lists we can tell but not many of us check there often and when we do those are not the accounts being banned...heck take a vote who wants to know...bet ya everyone does.... :$ For accounts that delete game and ms they should not be around for others to kill...some have actually perished...it's a disgrace. To know someone has died in real life and watch them killed over and over in a game is a damn shame. Please think about this and find a solution to those that aren't in the game anymore. thank you. You might like your numbers of players..we appreciate knowing who is really there.

 

There's the chance it was by mistake(or the fact that some of it ain't 100% proved)and can get thawed out at anytime.

sucks huh? when a game is dying they cling to everything they can. My daughter and lots of my kids friends play here...I've already witnessed accidents and suicides etc not related to a friggin game...when I see them on the game being attacked how do u think that feels...how do u think it makes the kids feel? Sorry but this is a big issue for me and mine. Might not happen to many but for those it does touch it's unacceptable. If Kano doesn't want to post their "banned accounts" at least give us all an option to take accounts out of game. Separate issue I know but not really...let the game be played by those playing...for those that are gone....let them go.

 

Well not to sound like a d@ck, but why are you checking status of someone that has past away? Game wise that is?

 

We are currently looking into different display options for frozen accounts as we recognize that players might want to unclan a frozen account or remove it from their faction.

As far as accounts owned by players who have passed away, please email the necessary information into support so we can deal with it appropriately.

 

For starters....children arent even supposed to be playing theses games. With all the nastiness that goes on in these games....I definitely wouldnt let children under a certain age play them. As an adult Someone passing away is just part of life. To be honest i see more reasons to eliminate accounts of players that have quit that are still alive.

 

IMO dead( accounts not being played for a variety of reasons) , frozen, and and banned accounts are good for target practice and achievements lol especially banned alt accounts besides ya never know when some one may come back to play,removing their account would not be good. I also agree children playing this game is not wise, there are plenty of great games that are fun and geared better for young kids, even pirate games.

 

Polish pimp & Linda you really should not "assume" so much....my "children" are in their 20's. Linda if you paid attention the accounts I think should be removed are those that are permanently banned so your suggestion they may come back to play is a bit contradictory to the whole discussion. As for you, Matthew I do not go searching these account statuses but I do have a game feed like anyone else.

really? When someone starts talking "children" "kids" and "their friends" separately from themselves as it pertains to how a particular thing might affect them differently....Im pretty sure 99.9% of people are going to "assume" you are talking about minors. Perhaps if you are that concerned about our assumptions maybe you should be more specific next time.


As far as removing accounts once they are no longer being played regardless of the reasoning's I really dont see much point , anything in these games could strike a negative chord or bring up a bad memory for any player at any given time, I think it would be much simpler just to deal with it...kinda like you should be letting your adult children do.

Players like pounding on banned accounts...so why not leave em. They actually serve a purpose as the more accounts there are the more XP there is to gain. Hell....If I cant make the conscious decision to sell off my property/empire and eliminate my account all together...then nobodies account should be eliminated regardless of reasons

 

Is this really an issue that we as a community should be worrying about? If a person is no longer playing an account for whatever reason, I'd just assume the account still be available for us active players to play against. In addition, my guess is that the person no longer playing probably no longer cares. I know I wouldn't. My fight list is small enough, I don't want to find myself worrying about having one less person on it.

 

Well I agree with one thing here... An account of somone who has indeed passed away should NOT be hitlisted. but i dont think they should be removed from game either, our accounts immortalize us. I like that about this game.

As far as banned accounts being displayed, I think the reason they are not is a privacy issue. If somone is not guilty of what they have been accused of doing, and are later unlocked. They really shouldn't have to suffer all the riddicule involved in being labeled a cheater.

I wouldnt mind something be done about people that have passed away, but i dont want to see them totally removed. Thier leaderboard standings should remain, they should definatley be on our squad list. Maybe thier profiles could have the "attack" buttons taken off or something.

This subject hits really close to home, as my faction has just lost a member last week to his fate. I think im done with the forums for tonight, totaly wrecked my mood.
