Ambushes should fall into the same category as hit listing. A person should not be able to re-load ambushes while they are in the hospital. They should be made to heal first then re-load.
interesting idea can you give more detail why they should reheal first i myself have rehealed while ambushing its just as easy most re set there ambushes while in ER if they have 2 or 3 mosters on them and you unable to ambush all at once if you were not allowed to ambush unless you heal then that would be unfair if you have 2 or 3 or 4 mobsters on you as you could only ambush 1 of them
It's more in line with rig ignitions than listing. Had to give it a 1. Changing this now is only asking for trouble.
Well, i understand what you are saying but, the ambush number is not static. By the time ambushes are only 10, one will be hard pressed to fight of 4 or 5 people with just them. My reasoning, in a one on one battle it would then be the person fastest to the click. Instead now, the person sits in the hospital load 5 or 10 ambushes and then heals. The advantage is with the ambusher. I would just like to level the playing field.
Both are meant as a defensive measure. Defensive measures should be allowed healed unhealed or dead. The 3 offensive measures(fight list punch)are the only 3 times should be healed. Defenses should be able to get set regardless. Think about this as well. Say you find yourself the target of multi attackers. You MIGHT get to set 1 ambush before getting knocked down. Heal and you might get 1 more in before getting knocked down. Sometimes soon as you heal your right back down. Then the ambuser has no chance. Ambushes still cost..attacking only cost 1 stam while ambushes costs 2 plus some game cash. Any attacker with enough stam can plow through the ambushes quickly. Try pirates where the limit only drops to 75. I've been known to plow through hundreds of ambushes just cause.
Keep it as it is. If you don't like going through ambushes just do as I do and list the ambusher once for every 4 ambushes you have to plough through (it's fine them setting ambushes, but they don't get to keep the xp )...they usually get the message after 5/6 hits a day and stop lol
I eat ambushes so I guess if people want to waste stamina and $$ trying to stop me attacking then I don't care where they set them. I like to list them after or pk them if they go off line, just so they didn't gain from my attacks. However, as the person is in hospital and not technically dead then they are able to set ambushes. Sorry, it's 1 from me too..
Alka, If a person is in the hospital and not technically dead, shouldn't they be allowed to hitlist, also? Lord, Ambushes can be used offensively and hit listing defensively. People ambush even when they would win from an attack. You get more exp from ambushing then winning attacks. Hit listing can be used as a form of deterrence especially when a higher level player is attacking a lower.
Thing is though the list is a certain death for the listee. Someone ambushed has a chance to die on one but at the same time its not likely. Ambushes can only be set if you've been attacked by the player so its defensive. Listing can be done whether you've been attacked or not long as the listed player is level 300 or higher. Listing is offensive. Ambushes are defensive. Fights are offensive. Rigs are defensive. Punches are offensive. There's 3 offensive and 2 defensive. Oh and listing someone to deter IS offensive. Ambushing them is defensive.
Yes, I agree. Sadly these type of games allow players to do many things from the grave such as jobs, deals,etc. I believe players should heal to do all but accept friends within the game.
ambushing is definatley offensive... as in they offend me. Esp when somone is sly with it and lets thier attack counters get about 5-10 under mine and then set bushes, finish and then finish attacking me later. (one of 10 or so ways ambushing is being abused) or say... You've been fighting someone everyday for the last week, punching along offline and offline, neither one letting their attack counters reset... then all of the sudden, one player stops punching and lets thiers reset, leaving the other player with attack counters for weeks, and they are "innocent and being bullied" awarded with next to nothing for an ambush cost. Ambushes can be offensive. and they can offend. They really need to be changed, but i dont think the idea in the OP is good enough. I rate it a 10 anyway.
