Ok as everyone knows we have lost our group chat. First question is why. Second question is who took them away. Was is it down to KANO or was if FACEBOOK. Could someone from the DEVS please respond to this thread. As there are alot of unhappy people out there. These chats are a big part of the internal makeup that help syndicate members pass around adventures, jobs, and other various information relevant to the game.
There does not seem to be any formal announcement from Facebook. There documentation still states group chat available to groups of 250 or less. Searching "Facebook Group Chat Removed" in google turned up this page: https://www.facebook.com/help/community/?id=713 with others having same issue. You could try to send Facebook a message directly here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/?id=227370944025932 Unfortunately we do not have any insight into what is going on, and if you do a google you can see many others complaining about the same issue.
It is definitely FB , all groups are having the problem , whether they are game groups for other games and info groups, help groups, boss sharing groups, but it only affects the chat part of a group not the group it self, I googled it and there is alot of talk this is just one site http://www.facebook.com/help/community/?id=18833
Supposedly there are rumors going around that they are updating group features into something else. Whether this be a new improvement into group pages or not time will tell. But definately a facebook issue. If it aint broke facebook always messes with it. If it is broke facebook wont fix it.
