Battle Arena Discussion (Round 2)

There's been alot of talk around the arenas that the defensive stance button is not very usefull in gameplay. We're proposing having the ability to toggle it on and off with the one catch, everytime you toggle it off you lose 5minutes. The reason for the 5 minute penalty is so you can't endlessly abuse it by attacking someone, toggling on, toggle off, attack someone toggle on....

Let's hear your feedback on this, at the moment the defensive stance currently doesn't really play any part in active gameplay.

 

My issue is mine some how is already turned on so when the arena starts i am already in that position. Which i do not want to be. Because i thought from hearing from the last players if you started out in it and jumped out then you had to wait for it to reset again. I didnt get the chance to use it last time because i just went in fighting and just fought until i died off.

 

The defensive mode should never be automatically turned on, in any case, we'll look at adding a toggle in your profile so you can enable/disable only before the arena starts.

Help!!! I signed UP for the arena - and it wont let me in!!!! I am being hit and yet cant enter!!! what gives>????????? been trying since it started!!!!!

this arena totally blew. lol i was out at 212 o_0 by my OWN armada leader. last time it was an advantage...this time...not so much.

Other than that, yes i like the toggle idea for the defense mode. it would be nice when others are teaming up and when ur teammate slips up and their eyes glaze over w/the bloodlust.

 

People are going crazy with health.

you are showing your hand on the arena players with the kill reward published ! and, if the defense mode timer has to play out before you can defend, then you pretty much watch yourself die when someone hits 1000+ times and you cannot really do anything about it. Attack back and die faster? pfft

 

i do believe that the time is a big problem!!
my time zone is +3
so when i came .. i was already dead !!!

WANT to be able to see feed for Battle Arena as it's happening...once you're out you're out, so it would be very cool to be able to see how friends are doing who last longer than u do Cheers

 

i dont no if somebody said this already cus there were to many coments to read lol, but how come i was only able to choose a name that has 3 letters and alot of other people had like 10 letters to there arena name it doesnt make scence to me.is there a level requirement to be able to have more letters for your name?

 

Congrats to SWM on myspace.Once again we are the top 4.But why is it showing the old arena and not the new one?I think we broke it.

 

Just an idea, please consider making tiered rewards for battle kills & wins; as well as the last pirate standing that is currently in place.

Just woke up. Went into PC to check Arena.. Old profile Name and Ranking of 311!

 

The leaderboard should now be showing the latest results.

 

Ok, correction on that. I went into Battle Arena through the link in "Battle".
I just went into Battle Arena via the side bar link and viola, still dead but ranked 91.

Wow again alot in the top ranks did nothing or next to nothing,at least on myspace.
