[LCN] Can you guys cut us a break on hired guns for Fathers day?

How about a 50% off sale for hired guns on Sunday????

 

Hi Phillip i love the idea of a sale on fathers day but 50% of hgs maybe bit unfair to others like mums
but im all for special reductions on special occasions
i like the idea and give a big fat 10

 

I think this would annoy a lot of people if they were reduced by that much or maybe reduced at all, I might support a general Favor Point sale though

 

I would want a refund on all my hired captains and hired chieftans that I have bought with cold hard cash, and since that is not gonna happen, I do not see this idea going anywhere, sorry gets 1 vote from me, I am assuming they are the same difference , although I do not play LCN and am not opening it up to see

As much as i would like this also for the kano games so i can get to my 2000 finally. I have to be like Linda. You would have to figure out a big way to compensate the players who have already reached there full 2000 and i doubt kano would do something like this let alone be able to figure out a good way to reimburse the players who worked to get the full 2000 whether it was money or by just playing the game i will give it a 3

 

I dont understand why everyone thinks that KANO would need to compensate anybody. Ever had "buyers remorse"? Ever paid top dollar for something just to see it go on sale in two weeks? Of course you have. It happens and people get over it. There is not need for compensation. Those players who have spent more money have enjoyed those extra mobsters for likely quite sometime. If they arent full, its a good time for them to fill up, but its not like they havent had the benefit of those HG's.

What you guys are saying is like the guy who goes and buys the brand new great computer and spends $2000 bucks on it and then complains when they see it on sale a year later for half that.

Give me a freaking break!

 

Something else to think about is the benefit to KANO. I dont know how many of you have had a real business course, but KANO could count on influxes of extra cash around holidays if they would do something like this. Granted, people wouldnt buy as much as regularly, but everyone would be buying at one time. People who normally wouldnt spend money on a game may be pulled in by the low price and opportunity to get better.

80% of the time its a sound business strategy. Keep the price high and run sales when you need an influx of cash. Everyone does it. Why cant KANO?

 

Let the pole decide for itself Philip. But this one has been beaten to death numerous times. And it always gets rejected for that very reason. And i said i didn't disagree with you it would be nice. But it's not going to happen even kano has rejected this on three occasions i have seen since i started the forums last year. Just telling you the way it has been take it which ever way you want to. And it could go the same way for you to from the players who have paid to get there full amount they would probably say quit complaining and just pay the money if you want them that bad or keep putting every favor point you get free in the game from challenges and level ups to purchasing the hired guns. And that is still my opinion on this and how i see it still going to be handled. Sorry if you don't like it but every player who comes on to the forums including us moderators because we are first players are entitled to are opinions just like your entitled to yours.

 

I understand that. Kano needs to pay attention to the majority. Not the minority. The moajority being the players without full mobs who either dont want to or cant affors the HG's. When 5% of the players control the game it isnt fun for anybody. This is at least a way for KANO to level out the playing feild a little. Of course the players that have tons of HG's dont want everyone to be able to get them easily. Thats how they maintain dominance. However, the majority will get bored with it an eventually decide to play something else. Likely not another KANO game since they all work the same way. Seems like KANO is more about the money than the playability of their games. Its ashame because they could have both if they slow down and pay attention.

 

I can see your point on it a little bit Phillip and understand the reasoning behind it. But just because a player has 2000 total a 1000 hired and a 1000 network players does not mean they cannot be beaten way before you even come close to getting yours. I was able to start thumping some of them around 1100 total and even with a 10 percent boost i can easily beat more. And now that i am over half way there myself from purchasing them or from just playing the game itself and receiving the points from leveling up to put to them i can easily beat even more with 2000 total. It all depends on how you build your character up in the long run. While yes it is nice to be able to finally get up there and have the full 2000 if you do not take the time to build up then those 1000 hireds are not going to do you any good in my opinion.

what he said , plus the fact about how unfair it would be for those that did spend money btw must good business do make good when something goes on sale, but they are big corporations,Kano is a small independent company, and the players who can spend money and have spent money help kano continue offering a free game for everyone to play.And as for buyers remorse , how about you coughing up the cold hard cash lol ( sorry had to go there )
