attack defense skills

Hello. Some people said that attack / defense skills seems useless and the only thing that matters is the clan size and weapons warriors. I red in the help section that the attack strength is counted towards my personal attack (made of skills). From this results that these skills should be important. Is there a bug with the attack / defense skills ?
For example, i did a test. I found an enemy, and attacked him. I won at the edge, i was 1,91 % stronger. My personal weapon was fenrir the wolf, armband blade, antler daggger . He was armed with skull crushing mace,twin blizzard axe, fenrir sword. These personal weapons are counted to the attack strength made of skills. So, i removed all my personal weapons, my attack dropped with 100 points, and when I attacked him again there was the same result ! At battle details at the comparison between my personal weapons attack and his personal weapons defense, mine were weaker. When I removed them shouldn't my attack strength be much weaker ? or some difference

 

Yes, in other threads it has been said that att/def skill points do not make a big difference in battle. See the threads on how battle damage is calculated.

Att/def strength does apply in boss battle and the higher the better, so technically it's not useless.
This same system of the fight calculation doesn't seem to apply to normal battles yet. There have been changes in the use of att/def in other Kano Games such as Mob Wars and Zombie Slayer... so it's possible the fight system may change in VC also.

So, att/def helps in boss battles and currently for normal battles it seems clan size and warriors and weapons are the big factors in battles.

how can a person at level 417 have a battle boost of 10005?

 

Sounds like you got hit with a counter attack. Counters have that percentage of boost.​
