Players and Fans,
It is with great sadness that I must announce the departure of Cara "Wonder Woman", KANO's lone support representative. Since January 2010 Cara has been an incredible asset to the KANO team, our players and community. I don't think this decision was made lightly by Cara. She genuinely loves the community and helping others. Recently a great opportunity was presented to her, naturally loving a good challenge she accepted. I'll leave it to her to share any details, but not to worry it's not with a competitor, it's in another industry entirely. She will be missed by all of us here, congrats and good luck in your new role Cara, you will always be welcome in our community.
Never fear though, Cara has been busy putting her replacement through his paces and giving him all the tools and know how he needs to help our loyal players and fans. Please welcome Dan "Wonder Bread" Erickson to KANO/APPS and the community! I'll let Dan introduce himself in this thread, but he comes to us with a customer support background, some fine copyrighting skills and is a pen & paper/board gamer! Dan will be working in house (Cara was remote). He and I are now a team! We'll be doing our best to continue pushing the new mantra and a new era of support and community for KANO/APPS. We are in alignment on our goals of increasing transparency, putting in the right channels to give players a voice, and continue to support all our loyal players to the best of our abilities.
To give Cara a proper farewell, we'll be de-clanning her in all the games and hitlisting her for a 30 minute period starting on Tuesday April 3 through Friday April 6. One game per day! Schedule and times to be announced early next week, stay tuned!
