A list of what Kano deems inappropriate

With all the recent hype about a certain players on going accusations of players being "baby raping Christians" all over Kanos feeds and them not doing anything about it.... has me wondering exactly what constitutes inappropriate language or remarks. Would racist remarks be appropriate? Im guessing yes? Because with Kano supposedly watching the player in question due to the multiple reports sent to them via the proper channels, Its obvious to me and anybody else reading the feed at this very moment that calling someone a "sand nigger" is A-OK.

I would like to request a list of whats considered inappropriate language and remarks so myself and others can quit wasting Kanos valuable time by sending in such frivolous reports. Its obvious to me and many other players out there that we and Kano r light years apart when it comes to what is tolerable and what is not. It only makes sense that u would provide us such a list so players too can overlook the morality of it all and be on the same page as u guys...I see this as being a huge time saver which would allow u to get back to more important things such as updates .

I absolutely would find such a list helpful indeed. Considering that mountain of what I would consider inappropriate language I have seen coming from the keyboard of said player (the one calling MULTIPLE people baby raping christians), I'm at a loss to know where Kano takes a stand......or if they take one consistently at all. Is it only when Kano gets criticized that their censorship kicks in?

While we are on a similar subject, Kano, can something be done about players who accuse other players of cheating WITH NO PROOF since none exists? They are deliberately trying to damage someone's image in the game with their false accusations and the player they accuse has no defense what so ever. How do you prove that you AREN'T cheating? You can't. I would love to see any one calling someone else a cheater, bot user or alt user suspended for a time unless the can provide incontrovertible proof to Kano of such deeds.

 

Though I do agree with the comments by donor to be way out of line and something should be done about it. I also think that smack talk is and always has been a part of the game. Just because some people can dish it out but can't take it. Doesn't mean everything should be censored. Is that not what games like farmville are for? People that are not thick skinned? If U get what U asked for,jj. Remember it when one of ur members gets frozen for it. No one is perfect. And not everyone can always control what they say.

 

I agree fully Yooper. All the smack talk is half the fun....even if it is skirting the edges at times. I also understand that players screw up or get mad and they have momentary lapse in judgement. We r human after all. I know ive let a few F bombs or the like drop a few times...but if I realize it or its brought to my attention im the first to apologize ...just as ive seen other players do in the past.

I think were in agreement when I say that some players go way beyond this and that they are doing it purposely for the sole reasons of hurting or impugning ones character.

The point Im trying to make here is that Kano is being woefully inconsistent in regards to actions taken or not taken in regards to its own TOU and its claims that they are all about its players. Sure...Kano is protected against libelous remarks made by its members on its game sight and here in the forums (unless of course they are found to be aiding and abetting the defamation ) by things such as Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act or similar language in the DMCA.....yet they go to great lengths in their own TOU to state things like.............

10.Usage Rules

As a user of the Site, you agree that your User Content, and your conduct on the Site will not:

Of course they then go to say ......

So in this case Kano has apparently decided to exercise their "sole discretion" and not do a thing in regards to this player blatantly and purposefully violating their TOU repeatedly over a period of nearly 2 years ....even when players who have been rivals since the dawn of time and have never agreed on anything came to their forums with united voices to say NO MORE. To make things even worse...This player came to the forums where all the same TOUs govern with his same remarks in a large and bold font posted with every comment he posted. Kanos answer was to delete the thread that objected to his remarks and the player continue to play and make the same remarks....some may say hes even kicked it up a notch by now making racist comments. If this isnt thumbing it in Kanos face...than what is? Kano has the right to ban him for any reason they see fit. Yet they ve chosen to do nothing. Im sure you can remember another player (QS) they banned for similar behavior.


There in lies the inconsistencies and exactly why I am asking for a revised list as to what the deem inappropriate. How many times have players had there character names deleted or their posts edited or deleted simply because they were having a lil fun with a rival? I know i once had my name deleted because I called someone a "motor mouth", I find it a lil hard to swallow that was deemed inappropriate when some one else can go around calling people "baby raping Christians" and "sand niggers".


Im not trying to be the morality police here. There is a certain member of the Parasites that changes his name practically every other day to a new derogatory remark about myself , JJ or my guild....I dont have a problem with that...I actually lok forward to what hes gonna come up with next. But this particular situation that has gone unchecked for nearly 2 years.....is obviously a whole diff ball game

 

I think we all know what is and is not appropriate, this thread feels like a deliberate trolling attempt. A list will not be published as you are correct, it is our sole discretion on what actions we take. This player has since been dealt with by support. Actions that we take are private and between Kano and the player accused. Players have the ability to mute other players so they are not subjected to their content. Reporting a player on the public forums is not the appropriate avenue to seek re-mediation, please visit our support page and contact support to report harassment or abuse. All reports of cheating and harassment are investigated. Thank you.
