I was looking at items I need to make workshop items and then I was looking at gifts.

I concluded that an item trade feature would be a great addition to the game, where items could be traded for other items and/or cash.

I realize a lot of thought would have to go into this before it was done to make sure it could not be abused so I am suggesting a few things to ensure it is not:
    1. It would be restricted to your syndicate
    2. It would be a feature unlocked at level 500+
    3. There would be a limit to the amount of cash that could be paid for an item
    4. You could only trade for items you could obtain at your level
    5. There would be a limit to the amount of money you could recieve from a single person within a specified timeframe.

Thats what I got so far, what do you think?

that would be nice and you can sell really rare items kano could put into the game you can only get at one point and could sell like 1 bill for that super rare item i would love a marketplace for the game

something like this has been brought up many times and im not sure if Kano has ever responded. I personally like the idea, but i believe the consensus was that it would be easily abused (even with the safeguards u mentioned), mostly due to alts selling everything to their main account etc etc. I suggested they make an auction house and and have a silent auction with sealed bids to help thwart the efforts of the cheats....but once again Kano was completely silent on the topic. There is a fairly lengthy thread on it here in the forums somewhere

i would love to be able to sell the thousands of weapons, vehicles and armors i dont use anymore. but as you said if u make a marketplace it would be abused so maybe we should get an option in the workshop to trade back some items we dont need anymore for 50% of their initial value maybe?

  5. Totally on board with this one.

We are reading everything that is posted on there. It has been brought up before and was commented on at that time. There is room for abuse with this suggestion so does require some more thought. Also, the crafting is kind of similar in that you trade up items that are in your inventory to get better items. You can also sell back any of your purchased inventory for a % return.

  8. There's just way too many items to ever expect a blacksmith solution for. Such as the throatguards or mountain hearts or dvalin handaxes in VC Thats just 3 examples that I have 3,000 of that I can't use and that's just a quick look right before I posted this.

  9. You can't use throatguards or mountain hearts?

I still use mine, but I guess you have more of the higher boss drop items?

  10. Exactly the point of an auction! You can use my useless items... Well... unless they ever make a blacksmith item for them.

  11. I use them on Defense but we all know how useless defense is now days and I put more points into def than I should have anyways. So I wouldn't mind crafting these for higher attack.

So maybe you'll be able to do something with them before long.

  13. Cool! Thanks man...

Rejected. Game is not designed for a trading system. In consideration for future games. One of the problems we foresee is old items becoming worth less over time.
