Went to "Your Mummy" player, as she/he asked to be added to clan, and the 'add to clan' button didn't work. Clicking button sent me to 'send a message'.
If you click on the "add to clan" button from their profile page it will take you to the message modal where you can select to send them a "Lets be Clan allies, add me" message. This will send them the correct link so that they can add you.
