  1. if that happened you have any idea how much this forum and support would be flooded..

    i see where your coming from with this really i see where your coming from

    but if this is changed now itll have a real negative effect

    Well, the game(s) seem broken with "outliers" in many of the Kano platform games. Those folks built their characters by volition to be able to do certain things, such as heal, but if one looks at the result, there is now a moral hazard and in a game with such a moral hazard, its broken and requires a fix. What Kano had in place, to counter this, was increasing XP multiples at certain level points, to slow down the creation of such outliers. That ended at level 3000, unfortunately I believe.

    as i'm not a bounty hunter myself this doesn't really affect me, but i surely can understand how it would effect those who are.

    first off, the claim that the gold put up for bounties being lost has no effect on the vc economy is completely ridiculous. those who bounty hunt are among the most active and vocal players. the loss most definitely does have an effect on the bounty hunters economy, as i would assume that a large part of all the bounties they earn goes towards bountying others.

    but i can also see the point of those that feel that when someone gets killed by a trap, for bountying someone else while they're bountied, that the money for them being bountied shouldn't just automatically go back to the one who bountied them to begin with.

    not allowing someone to place bounties while they're bountied would probably be the fairest and easiest solution, not really sure how anyone feel about it tho.

    reactivating the bounty when the person heals would also seem to be another easy fix. i do also like the idea of a bounty timing out. say if a person can survive being on the bounty list for an hour, or maybe 2, or 4, then the bounty is cancelled and they get their own bounty.
     
  4. if we cant place bounties while listed then this forum and support will get flooded with complaints.

    that was already made clear before in another thread


    reactivating the bounty is the fairest solution i seen so far


    bounty timeout will cause complaints as well(possibly by BOTH sides)

    i once was listed for 12hrs before getting knocked off

    i was trying to stay on to gain rivals

    a timeout will ruin that

    Your argument doesn't add up.
    A bounty time limit doesn't work for you as it would eliminate the ability to gather rivals,
    however, hitting a trap COMPLETELY ELIMINATES the ability to gather rivals and all competition that the bounty list creates.

    A majority here all seem to agree that there needs to be more player vs. player. The ability to cancel a bounty via trap
    eliminates 1 major battle option in the game. With the increased load in bosses and challenges, do we really need to threaten competition in battle any further?
