I don't get it.......

I log in today to find I've been randomly hitlisted by some guy i never attacked.

in retaliation I hitlist him and he gets killed then suddenly i'm hitlisted by someone else 600 levels above me.

I heal then i'm hitlisted by someone different 500 levels above me 2 seconds later.

I heal again then suddenly a third person 500 levels above me hitlists me and I'm dead again

WTF!!!!!!!

 

you irritated a faction.

you can rest assured that it wasn't me, otherwise the person claiming your bounty would have been the one re-listing you.

wait it out until they find another chew toy, or find somebody bigger and stronger to give them a friendly tap on the shoulder, again, and again, and again, until they decide to stop.

Also, sell off any items with an upkeep that you aren't using for you're current outbreak. The higher your income, and lower your upkeep the higher your cost to be hitlisted.

Finally... keep healing. Sooner or later they will be unable to afford your price at which time you can play freely....
unless they are using my tactic of playing hitlist ping pong, in which case the only money ever lost is the original HL cost.... at which point, I suggest putting your head between your knees and kissing your anatomy good bye. you can either wait dead for a few hours and see if they give up, or send FR's to them all.

level 300 and higher ANYONE FOR ANY REASON CAN LIST YOU!!!!!!!!!THEY DONT NEED A REASON!!!!!!

youve got a few choices

A) wait it out and hope they move on
B) take a chance and fight/list back(try this on me i would save your url for quick access)
C) get a higher level clan member to try and fend off the higher(s)bothering you(try it on me again i will save your url for quick access)
D) attempt to sneak in that higher levels clan by tracing them to there facebook page(this trick will NOT work for those that are looking for it but 96% will just accept without realizing it at least for friends)(one guess if you tried this with me)

those are you main 4 choices.

 

I'm not sure how I pissed off a whole faction, I hardly ever even do pvp I mostly fight bosses.......

 

I can tell you some players have too high of an ego I only did bosses too and I had some people start targetting me with punches/hitlists and I fought back a little just to have I think 6 different factions after me (I'm not kidding sadly heh). This is been going on for like 2 weeks and I just learned to stay dead for all but a few minutes of the day and level with energy and challenge helps for the most part. Its not as much fun (especially with over 800 stamina just sitting there) but at least you don't get chained this way.

 

its almost never random though.

if bosses is what youve mostly done then its possible youve ignored unlock request in the boss.

 

well nobody ever answers my requests when I ask for help anyway. I have almost 200 squad members and some of them are top players like dilligaf.......I just solo all my bosses up to 10 and then leave them alone..so far until just recently I have not had to repeat any of them past level 10

 

so you havent joined anyone elses boss battles?
if answer is no then disregard the following

if answer is yes then you probably did more damage to their boss than they wanted.some ask for unlocks some dont.if nothing is posted then its their fault.if its posted for unlocks then its best to just hit for min damage or maybe SLIGHTLY heavier.if you disregard unlock messages then im not surprised youd find yourself on bounty.

far as squad not helping you i can think of some reasons as to why.

A)they have no stam to spare
B)the boss doesnt benefit them in any way
C)you simply dont show on the feed as it still does happen

 

Don't like being the stepping stone become stronger get more people to join or pull out your cc and buy ya way up to the top. By all means don't ask these guys for advice they probable are the people kicking ya ass.

It's no mystery as to why you have been listed.
The moment you click to list someone your name is up in lights for all the hunters to see. If those guys can't get the bounty because they are clanned, or if the guy they see is a member of their Faction, then the chances are they will list you if you are cheap enough.
Also, players read the squad feed, and again your name will appear as listing their buddy.
The fact you were listed so many times could be down to the fact that the listers are not clanned (even though they may be in the same Faction),so they didn't know you had already been sorted out, and by healing, you did yourself no favours.


What to do if the same scenario occurs?
A. Ignore the listing and continue to do bosses.
B. Mail the guy and ask for a truce
C. Contact the Faction leader and explain the issue, and offer a truce. A good Faction will honour a Truce as long as you are not in a Faction and at war with them.
D. You could do as you have done so far and become cannon fodder for them.. Not a good move!!

I would add that you are wasting a good game by only doing bosses. Join a Faction, do some fighting, get advice from them as to building Skills, protect the team and they will protect you, they answer all your questions( and prevent you from running to the boards),and above all, enjoy yourself.

Remember the days of Mob Wars?? When all we had to worry about was a random chainer?? lol Now its factions, multiple chainers, and rampant egos..lol Its funny how even though times change, they really dont, do they??

 

I'm confused..are you saying that some people when they ask for help on a boss will look at their squad and check to see if there are any active members that did not help and then unfriend them and then hitlist them just out of spite because they didn't help?? I'm having a tough enough time with my own bosses...besides most of the time when I click on a boss help feed it's already dead because whoever asked for help had like 20 helpers.......reasons a and b are usually also why I don't click to help.....


anyway.......since I'm the op I'll say I've not had a problem with chaining lately......I suppose it was just a random event...whoever I pissed off moved on
