Can someone tell me what the criteria is on pistol whips? I'm asking because I find I may whip someone and give hundreds worth of damage, but when I whip that same player an hour later, it's really low, like 25 or so.
whips are random. however according to alot of viking players which ill assume works with the pistol whips as well is that the max damage you can inflict with one is 5% of total health whichever of you has the lower health.
Then how is it that the same person being whipped can kill me with one whip when I have more than 500 on health? I'm finding this "random" thing tends to always work in my opponent's favor. Would like a definitive on this from one of Kano's admins if possible. I don't find anything that explains how the amount of damage is determined, even if it is random.
Well, using numbers from the last few hours, I have seen whip damages from 20 or 30 all the way up to 700. (A few players were picking on some of my Armada so others of us stepped in. Those numbers are MY whip damages. Some of my Armada was doing more.) But I'd like to know more how that was calculated. Some clan have been asking.
We purposely do not post game formulas to keep the game fair for everyone and also to provide an extra challenge in the game. We do however encourage you to discuss your formula questions with your fellow players.
theres no rhyme or reason to the pistol whip damage.but as i said before more health means a larger chance of dealing a much larger whip depending on opponents health as well
"Keep the game fair"...Ok, with that in mind, how "fair" is it when a level 4000 player who obviously will have more health, stamina, etc. can pistol whip a level 1000 player? I wasn't asking for Coca-Cola's "secret" formula, I just wanted some sort of honest explanation of how it is possible, with all things previously posted and being equal, a player can whip another one time and give a great deal of damage, yet an hour later, give almost nothing. Obviously, it isn't random if there is some sort of "formula" that decides the outcome... Oh, and as far as posting formulas, there are several posted in the game itself, showing where one player may be stronger or weaker than another in an attack.
"Random" can still be dictated by a "formula." It sounds as if there is some sort of range, and upper and lower bounds that each whip will fall between. If the range is large enough, the whips will vary GREATLY. Those are not formulas. That is the end result of a calculation. However, KANO, what would be fitting is for a vague idea of how it works. Example: attack strength/damage in battles is determined by your personal attack strength and the weapons your bring to the fight. So, could you tell us if the Whips correspond to attack/health/level/etc, please? I'm not asking for formulas, just a vague-ish hint.
Here is a calculation that I used to use in another app, and it was spot on for working out a players health. I'm not saying it will work for finding Whip strength, but it gives an idea of the area you need to be looking in. Pistol Whips could be decided on your health level at time of whipping, the other players health at time of whipping. Remember, a players defense gets stronger the lower their health becomes. As for Kano......Bite me. You want us to play the game, so it's about time you helped us master it and be a little more helpful. Remember who is paying your wages!!! Formula To Calculating the lower players health. you take total damage, add 1, divide by 3, x 10 = lower health of the fight. 1 attack damage is 30% of max health minus 1 for example if you and your partner have 100 health the total damage will be 29 so like 16 - 13 or 20 - 9 if it's 200 health it's 59 damage every 10 health that is added .. 3 more damage will occur. Hope that feeds you're apatite.
