I'm interested in high -powered items (no sense digging around / spending resources for stuff I cant use) can nassau mateys, sd cabin boys/ girls, etc be used for any stronger elements, figuring A, D of 18,18 or better; weapons in the high/ mid 20s- from elements in the high teens/ low twenties == not looking for a free lunch: I'll gift anyone helping out here, regularly.
1300+ have been loading up on 17/17 mateys, silent assasins doesnt seem like ships are worth it (shelling out to turn 90 into 92?)
Yeah, the ships aren't worth it, really. Mardi Gras Beauty - 24 Attack, 23 Defense Silent Assassin - 22 Attack, 23 Defense Privateer - 21 Attack, 15 Defense Eel Guardian - 20 Attack, 15 Defense Crow's Nest Sharpshooter - 19 Attack, 19 Defense Then comes the Wise Old Spirit with 17/17. But Parasitic Mateys and Samurais have better Defense. Weapons are different.
for mardi gras and silent assassin though your shelling out 2 mateys and the final product doesnt really offer a much better reslut.those 2 at least i think arent worth it EDIT:mardi gras is actually 3 mateys
But if you have an excess of the ingredients, or the ingredients don't show on your Battle List AND the finished product does, then it's a good idea. Well, at least he knows the strongest mateys that be gotten at that level.
while those ingredients might not show for your attacking items they could both(or in mardi gras case all 3)show on your defense items.taking both(or all 3)of them at once can actually hurt you in that case. but like you said if youve got alot of excessive of those items then no problem i agree.
The minstrel maiden and wise old spirit are the only mateys that are a simple upgrade. The Silent Assassin requires two mateys which will show in most players battle lists but isn't as big of a sacrifice as mardi gras.
spending 2 mateys for 1 isnt a problem, esp since I have a bunch that dont figure into battle anyway- I'll look for minstrel maiden; i craft as many silent assassins as I can; meanwhile, it would be nice to use nassau mateys, etc where possible ( and other 13/15s, 15/13s, 16/14s, etc)
