They DO appear in Special Items. And they don't vanish on their own; you have to manually drop them or use them up in a recipe.
i'm pretty sure i know what i can see in my inventory, and i know i can't see all of them. about the dissapearing, i'm not so sure anymore
Do a search; hit "Ctrl + F" or whatever combination your computer uses. If it is not there (and you spelled it right), then you don't have it.

Kinda like this... -World Adventure drops -boss drop -next world Adv. drops -next world boss drops After that, I think, it goes like this -Challenge drops -Phoenix drops -more challenge drops -Nidhogg drops -FP purchase items -Gifts I'm basing this on my own Special Items menu, so if it differs from anyone else's, then please add upon this guys. I find that i can only see all of what i have if i go to my profile page and view my inventory at the bottom of it
