Question: holiday themed for December? The Grinch might be a good one...

Not a bad idea but probably some kind of licensing thing if actually using the Grinch. Maybe a toxic green mobster instead.

There should be a little envelope that has the raid boss link it it, click the envelope and paste it into a message to them. Make sure that you click to let mobsters in - sorry can't remember what it says)

    Hope that helps

I feel the same as many other players, we need the ability to eject anyone from our raids in the last hour that have not met the minimum requirement to obtain a reward from the raid. Surely Kano can sort this as if it is in the last hour and only those under the minimum requirement are kicked there can be NO misuse of this. Raids are great but there are too many players and alt accounts whose main aim is to knock the health down on a raid. We also have those that just camp a spot and don't help the raid! I personally try and help as many Newbies with their raids as I can, as I hate seeing them fail and unfortunately so many new players raids do! That is not a great thing for their first experience at raid bosses for these brand new players. Come on Kano surely you can grant our request! :)

Agree with Stiletto.. Campers and raid perishers are a HUGE problem. We need the ability to remove such players from our raids. There really is nothing more frustrating than using/spending our stamina, energy, fps etc on raids only to have someone with an ulterior agenda perishing the raid party or sitting idol on their backsides while everyone else is busting butt on that raid. It would give us the ability to free up that spot for someone who is actually willing to put in the effort and help out.

Raids cannot be perished anymore, for some time now.

whatever it is now.. some of these people still get in and run the health all the way down and don't heal

I don't know/can't remember if Kano have said whether they have investigated a proposed kick feature in depth but if someone has invested in a raid and has hit minimums then you are looking at a potential for problems if you do or you don't have the option to kick.

No kick problem: People get upset about no kick feature as they get leeches or people actively sabotaging their raids. Solution: Introduce kick or Give people the control over who they share it to. We already get this second option and there is also an effective link cancel feature if you fear your link has been leaked to someone you don't want in. I know it can be frustrating but the way to beat leeches is a) Don't post your boss in public chats (World or Jobs) and b) Be discerning with who you do share with.

With a kick option: People get kicked - What happens to the resources they invested to the boss? What happens to the boss health? How do you manage skill points/xp gains from those that camp min. and get kicked? I'll tell you now this would be a very difficult system to manage. Rolling back xp and sp's for people getting kicked is not a quick/easy task. This is particularly difficult to manage around level boundaries. Like, do we demote someone a level if they get kicked after levelling up? Like I could level up, spend the fp earned and sp's immediately with the kick only coming a couple of days later. You can't have players on negative fp's. They might be playing like real tools but they're not breaking ToS by being annoying. Likewise, what's stopping people finding a potential exploit and using it to abuse sp's or fp's in this manner? Then you have a cologne-gate situation where if an exploit of that potential magnitude is replicable? Then you end up again with more unhappy people on both sides.

People get kicked arbitrarily - Say someone does 10M damage on a raid. That's more than 2k actions and more than the 5-6M you see from the hardcore leeches. What's stopping you saying they need kicking/that the line is in the wrong place and how do you draw that line? On the flip side, if you could kick them, that's going to upset a lot of people. 10M isn't a boss killing amount of damage but that's not bad for low level players.

I think the current version is not only best for the players but best for kano and allows them to focus on other more important game features (like expensive chat name colours ;)). Sly dig aside, you'll end up in problem raids. Learn what they look like and which players regularly end up in them to avoid problems in the future. Hell, you could just not play raids/share raids with anyone if it was that pressing of an issue but I find that kind of advice useless at best.

We have never been able to kick anyone off of ANY boss in the past, nor should it be possible in the future. As the honorable Mr. Reesy stated: You must be discerning in who you invite, and where you post your links. Any player that has played daily, long enough to be out of protection, has a pretty good idea with whom they can trust their links with. Sure, there will always be someone that leeches or attempts to ruin the raid. No risk, no fun. But the ability to kick anyone, regardless of damage, would be a catastrophe.

Again I see you bring back the RAID SHOP and NEGLECT to deal with our concerns and requests to BRING BACK THE PAWN SHOP!.
Another money grab opportunity rather than listening to the masses!.

You took the pawn shop down because of BUGS in the raid shop...rather than fixing it, you take away one the options that WE all liked!

    Time to leave....getting fed up!

Paying for Favor Boosts time to get raid tokens does not work optionally, instead of getting 2 tokens, it's happens that only 1 token gets. work that out kano!!!!!!!

Doubles your progress towards getting a Token, not the payout. Worked that way since the first Raid Shop in March.

Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this or not, but I wanted to add a couple of observations to raiding as it pertains to newer players. My current level is in the mid 500's. I've participated in a few raids this go round, and I really feel that raids were not implemented with newer players in mind at all. The raid I have opened, I've done over 50 million damage myself. It has 14 hours left and will probably fail. Nothing I can do about that. Can't kick the inactives. Can't set a minimum damage threshold, so people can just show up and do whatever and that's fine. I just have to deal.
Okay. Well, one of the other raids I'm in, I have the most actions, second highest damage and highest heals, and if that boss dies right now, I'll get a "great" chance at a reward. A great chance? Reward should be commensurate to effort, and if I'm going to put in double the actions of the next closest person to ensure I'm doing my part, I think there should be a better consideration of rewards for that effort. I did like the leveling, but as has been pointed out in previous posts, you do tend to jump up really fast (200 levels in one day is really fast) and that can create a power imbalance. But I suppose that's a personal choice.
Ultimately I think that there needs to be a better way to integrate lower level players into the raiding scene in a more fair and fun way rather than having them sit there and watch the raid boss that they worked hard on and put a lot of effort and FP into rot because of the actions, or lack of actions in this case, of other players. As an old MMO raider, I get that raiding isn't a guaranteed thing, but it's not like I can rez and try again. It's one and done and as it sits, it's more balanced toward players that have been around/built connections than newer players starting out.

As a low level new player, l(ike yourself ) raids have been in the game for 4 to 5 years now, they are certainly geared to new Players, if people pay attention to how the best way to fill their raids, # 1 is do not post in jobs, unless you can take it down if need be, Players need to network, and keep their raids private and know the people who you invite, and invite people that can do the min, people that can do the most and a few who can take it down for you if you can.t. Yes, new players raiding take a chance on raids in jobs is a chance everyone takes, as does anyone even playing for some time who did not build a strong account, cause it will leave players in a range they cannot handle, that has always been an issue, There are players that only play during raids, and don't play the rest of the time, everyone starts out with the same info available, no matter when a feature was implemented, doing some research reading how things work, asking questions instead of just jumping in with no info, which is available falls on each player.

I have a suggestion, can we make the world boss raids continuous on attacking? Instead of just hitting them with 5 stamina, add an option of 20 stamina also, and also to not wait for 4 hours before attacking again...

I've played similiar games like this in mafia wars, castle age and dawn of the dragons...

    Thanks :)
