TGIF! Development News for February 1, 2019

Happy Friday, everyone!

As the first month of 2019 comes to an end, we’re making progress towards some very exciting stuff that is coming your way soon, such a NEW Crates next week and a ZS Location shortly thereafter. But for now, let’s cover what happened this past week and what’s coming up on Monday:

The Piggy Bank Returns Again

Next week in Mob Wars: LCN and Pirate Clan, the Piggy Bank promotion will be coming back with a few adjustments to make it a bit more friendly and easier to understand. Here’s a recap of last week’s explanation in case you missed it with updates for next week:

From Pacific on February 4 to Pacific on February 6, if you had more than 25 FP in your Piggy Bank when it ended last time, you will be given an opportunity to open your Piggy Bank to get that FP. Just like the last time, this will cost $5 USD. During this time you will not be able to add anything to your Piggy Bank, this is so you can have an opportunity to get anything you had in there from the last run.

From Pacific February 6 to Pacific February 8, we will be running a regular Piggy Bank event. This means that a portion of the FP you use will be stored in the Piggy Bank. Once it reaches 25, and to a maximum of 250, you can pay $5 USD to open the bank and get the FP. Every time you open the bank, the rate of return on your FP goes down a little bit, so make sure to break wisely!

Mobile Level/Up Achievement Screen Update

Continuing our refresh of the mobile app screen, we released an update for the Level Up and Achievement screens that bring them into line with the updates we’ve brought out over the last few weeks.

This makes the screen more responsive, so it performs better, and cleans up how we were displaying that information

Pirate Clan Mobile Update

Earlier this week we ran into an issue with local storage on the PC mobile app which, among other things, made the tutorial characters pop up a lot. Luckily we identified the cause of this issue and reverted it as quickly as we could.

If you are still affected by this issue, please check the App Store for an update!

yeah that was a bust was looking forward to breaking the piggy bank as i had enough favor points saved to break then clicked break the bank then it asked me to pay 5$ to get my won favor points back you guys conned me thanks for nothing so disappointing its not funny

 

Block below certain level players and some high L players from blitz involved the pintas is stupid. kano never will get money from me , ever

 

Are you suggesting Kano pick and choose who can list and who can be listed?

A question though, the new Piggy bank event....Once its over, how much time you got to break the bank or do you have to do this inside the time limit of the event?

 

Hunting becomes as good as impossible for fair gamers.If you're lucky to get 1 HL attack in AND get the kill,you are indeed VERY lucky.

 

Which game you referring to? I agree with you when trying to hunt in LCN

 

What happened to all that quest crap that you guinea pigged on Pirates, which we were supposed to see early 19 in the other games?

 

Mobile App request (LCN: Mob Wars):
Can you make it easier to adjust the maximum damage allowance on Co-op Bosses? Even a slider like I use in the Facebook app would be an improvement.

 

Only play LCN, already taking to much of my time as it is.Known bot users have killed the game,many already left.quit,because KANO knows them for about 1 year,yet do jack about them.

 

You have to open the piggy bank within the time limit of the event. As noted in the post we added a countdown clock this time to help with that.

I've mentioned this before, but it needs another rework and test in Pirate Clan before we start adapting it to other games. All dates subject to change.

Quick update - still no stacking and still no money spent since it was removed. Keep your crates!

 

I am considering leaving Mob Wars LCN because of KANOS greed.

It is ok that we are asked to pay $ 5 to break the Piggy bank, it's the same in every other game, but it's not ok that it will be only an event for 2 days...and the best part of it all is, that FP's starting counting almost at the end of the Raid event...when most had already spent tons of FP's...

Mi7ch, since you begin about few adjustments, will there be other payments options available to break the piggy bank or will a CC still be the only option? And if not, why not?
