I've got a weird question: How long do "Bounties" last? 1 day, 1 week, 1 month? Do they expire? I've searched for the answer in the forums but not one mention; I may have missed it? Thank you in advance!!!
JADES hit the nail on the head, Bounties stick around until they are claimed. Which generally ranges on 2 to 5 seconds. That kinda sorta depends on the strength of the player listed. Though it sounds like you might have healed up and been killed. That might mean you were Bountied (sp. Bounty'd?) a second time – or maybe you are getting attacked and killed, of course. Sometimes staying dead for a bit works because powerful, experienced players know that the knee-jerk reaction is to heal up and do more actions, so they can just wait to Bounty you as soon as you heal up. If they click and it says 'Nuh uh! That dood is still dead' then they will likely move on to something else. So good on you, Opihi! I think your instinct to wait a bit is a clever one.
