This game is getting too boring - make something new- characters, challenges competitions ...enough these raids every 2 weeks if they are once a month, there will be more money for you! Thus exhausting players and many will leave soon or later!

Raids 2 weeks after the fact? Are you serious? Here's a thought. As other players have stated... how about updating the game, add in the achievements, fix what's wrong with the game, instead of always putting what makes you money first. If it weren't for your players, you wouldn't be making money, I think you need to remember that. How about giving something back to show your appreciate towards your players? How about adding in things that actually won't cost your players any money. Changes need to be made, it isn't always about the almighty dollar, it is suppose to be for the enjoyment of the players, not lining your pockets. Even your customer support is lacking, the time frame in responses and getting anything done, down to depending on who answers the ticket. Need to step it up guys! What's in it for us? What will keep us here or shall more of us leave yet again? Your call KANO... you do something to keep us around.... or do nothing and more of us will be leaving. Show us your appreciation that doesn't line your pockets.

i've noticed less people playing the games during the raids . everyone with money so wrapped up in leveling they don't socialize much . this was a social game on social networks . so in your quest to increase the money in your pockets you're killing the games . armor and kong are dead . less than a hundred people playing is my guess . pc , server 2 is dying . pc , server 1 is following . about your only chance for survival is to come out with a completely new game . now you want us to play more . the hours your loyal base plays is already way too much .

i complained about moving away from a battle game when you expanded the bosses . the raids make it worse . people playing for months passing players who have stuck by you for years . it was bad enough when the cheats passed us but now anyone with deep pockets can own the game . how does a schmuck playing for months deserve the top loyalty drops over someone playing for years ? and we have to listen to the chumps on the feeds . mocking us . think that sits well ?

here's a few suggestions : raids - once a month . arena - once a month . guild war - once a month . challengers - each , once a month . have all the games participate at the same time , that should cut down the amount spent on any one game at a time . you'll make your money with increasing the quantity of players (remember how many left the game because you wouldn't get rid of the cheats) . remove all restrictions on the games on armor/kong . let the players have multiple accounts and let them play them as they wish . remember a long time ago i suggested that you allow multiple accounts , i proposed charging for the second account (you just can't play both accounts at the same time ) .

you have long time players who are fed up . you have new money players who are getting bored already . i see no promotion of the games , anywhere . you better wake up and make some changes .

RANT OVER - for now . lol .

You need to give us NEW LANDS in a TIMELY matter!!! You started these Raids & now everyone is leveling up FAST! We shouldn't have to come to the forum to beg for them! People get BORED doing the same thing with NOTHING to look forward to! Also you need to upgrade the weapons in the Bosses! So many are just too weak! You need to upgrade War Mode also, You need to upgrade the Achievements, just to name a few things! So many things you guys just ignore & waste time on things we don't care about!!!

Weekday Calendar, Monday to Friday as usual.

That is the week of September 3, Raids are still on Sept 7 as they normally would be.

A new Location and achievements are coming.

To be honest splitting up when the calendars run is something that will turn me off from the games- it's a lot easier to do the calendars in all games at the same time instead of splitting them up over the month, who is going to be able to be on to click every week to get them done in all games? You made it worse instead of better!

So we're getting more calendars? A 5 day, a 7 day, a weekday, and a weeklong one, in addition to the 3 day and weekend calendars?

come on Mi7ch please don't put calendars on different weeks for different games, it is hard enough to finish them when they are all together, having us click every 30-45 mins every week is totally unrealistic and just plain mean!

  10. THANK YOU!!! I appreciate the clarity on the schedule as I am certain many others do as well. This will prevent further misunderstandings. YOU GUYS ROCKED THAT ONE!!

So my Battle Arena says Begins: Sat Aug 26 10:00:00 PDT, and your schedule says Battle Arena Aug 30th, does that mean we are having 2 Battle Arena's within 4 days of each other??

@JADES I'm sorry if I was unclear - I sometimes call the "weekday" calendar the "weeklong" calendar, but as @mi7ch said, they are the same. Also re: sales, it's more like if you had "reward points" at a store vs. paying in cash. It usually costs more reward points to get something vs. paying hard currency. These sales will almost always be better deals than the equivalent FP offer.

@Terror of The Scioto Guild War will run Friday to Tuesday as normal. I put down the dates of the "weeks" as I thought that would help show the structure better but obviously that was pretty confusing for everyone :( We aren't switching to a lunar calendar or anything like that, and things will still be fixed to the days of the week. The weird part with the dates/months is that some months end up having a different mix of days or number of weeks, and events run into other months sometimes, so it's easiest to think of the events as having their own repeating schedules: raids are once every 28 days, Faction wars and Battle Arena are every second week opposite raids, etc. We are moving all Battle Arenas to Wednesdays so they will end before Faction Wars start. As for the "sale" week, we've had some feedback saying there are too many events and it's too stressful; this is a compromise where we can reduce people's fatigue at multiple events without removing any, and it also lets us make sure BAs never run the same time as a raid.

@Susanne Rautelius @Suzie like Mi7ch said the raids haven't changed in timing and we do have some more achievements coming down the pipe — in fact he just did a bunch of hard work hashing out what they should be along with our data science team. We'll let you know as soon as we have a firmer estimate on when those'll come out. Re: start times, we did a bunch of experiments with BA start time but never found a good compromise where everyone was happy. We can look at doing another survey but I think the large number of North American players will upset the balance there. I can tell you we are looking at ways to improve the BA including possibly returning it closer to its original state, though that wasn't a super successful event either so we would have to make some changes. Re: support time, I'm sorry about the wait. We are in the process of hiring some new folks for the Support team so we should see those ticket times go down very soon.

@ZSlayer and @Robert Belrose I'm sorry if these changes make it tougher for you to play multiple games. We did consider this as a potential issue; most players play one game the most, and we think this will help make all the games more fun individually. We will keep an eye on this though and if a lot of multi-game players have trouble we will re-evaluate. Also ZSlayer there will not be 2x BAs in the same week — my mistake. The first BA of September under this schedule would be Sept. 13th.

Thanks for your patience with us on this, guys. I know the games are something you all hold dear and changes can be painful. All I can say is we are doing our best based on the data, and our only goal is to make things more fun for everyone. I really appreciate all your feedback and I hope you'll keep pouring it on as we continue to tune things going forward.

I think it is great that raids, battle arenas, and guild wars are spread out from each other across the different games-,it makes perfect sense! What doesn't make sense is spreading out the 3 day and 5 day calendars- that only puts a bigger demand on the loyal players that do play multiple games. It is much easier to be a slave to clicking every 30 or 45 minutes once a month that it is to do it 2 or more times a month. All the other schedule changes seem to be geared towards making it easier multiple game players to take part in the events- why would you make it harder to complete the calendars?

I don't play other KANO games besides VC, but I have to agree here with Robert.... It's sometimes a task in itself to complete a calendar on 1 game, yet alone multiple and switch the scheduling? Are you trying to kill your players on sleep deprivation or what? Schoughman, I challenge you to the test like on this thread for just 1 game http://forums.kanoapps.com/threads/calendar-challenge.14784/

Our idea (based on the data) is that the calendars are less busy/difficult to do in general, so running them during other events isn't as big of a deal, and one of the problems with them is sometimes for example we want to run a St. Patrick's Day event but none of the monthly "slots" fit in neatly with when the event actually happens. What we could do is run the calendars the way they are, weekend first, then weekday a couple weeks later, and have that stay the same for all 4 games but then sometimes the calendars would happen during a raid or other event. If that's not an issue it's certainly easier for us to keep the calendars all together.

Much easier to do all calendars at same time, so please keep them together.
Now what are you going to do about BA only on Wednesday running at same time for ZS and VC???

Still working on a solution to that, ZSlayer. Promise we'll keep you updated with any news.

After a significant amount of feedback from players in all 4 games about these proposed changes, we're going to leave the event schedule as-is for the month of September (I.E. the changes suggested in the OP will not be happening.)

It sounds like moving these events would cause issues for players who play multiple games, and wouldn't go far enough to solve people's concerns about fatigue when playing the current volume of events. We'll look for other solutions to try and address that for now. Thank you to everyone who chimed in and helped us make the call not to pull the trigger on this next month! I will update the OP and thread title as well.

Any change you make here is going to annoy a bunch of players to make another bunch happy. There's not likely to be a middle ground. There's 2 possible solutions I can think of at the moment. The 1st is a rotation per month. If say raid was first this month, it's be last next month, then 2nd last etc.
The 2nd is to poll it. Set up polls for the dates with a list of all possibilities and let the popular one win for each date set.
