Davy Jones points, aka Favor Points, are used in Pirate Clan as one desires: to purchase special items up for sale; to buy hired captains; and to refill stamina, energy, gold, and or health.
I haven't even bothered them with it. Both times it was one of those Limited Time items that the page happened to be opened to, & I can't even remember what the items were (& they've since moved on to another selection of items). ~since I've already long since gotten all of my hired captains, I'm just viewing it as a donation in supporting my favorite game at this rate... Although, I sincerely hope not to making another accidental purchase!!! I wouldn't have chosen from that category of items if I'd been intentionally buying one.
