Updated Payouts on Granite Crates - Better Odds!

Hey all,

Quick update about January’s new Granite Crates. The too long; didn’t read is that these Crates have a special offer where you get better odds for a lower price (low tier Crates have the same price, but updated odds). If that sounds good to you, go check them out! For those who want more info, keep reading.

Previous Crate payouts on Legendary Crates were 35% to get a Legendary, 55% to get a rare and 10% to get a common. For reference, the payout screen looked like this:



Under the new odds on the updated Crates, you have a 50% chance at a Legendary or a 50% chance at a rare. The payout screen now looks like this:

Bring back the old crate Attack or Defense or Balanced items...we had the choice now its KANO who gets the choice with our money!

 

Don't even bother unless you spend loads of money, the 30 rps ones are totally cr@p

 

I bought 6 (2 of the 3crate packages) and landed 2 legendary items.

 

High and mid tier crates are lower price. The lowest tier crate is the same price as specified in my post, although all have improved odds.

 

Go look at my original post and you will see what I mean about improved odds.

I bought a 3 pack & got 2 Legendary Items, very happy with that!

 

I bought 2 more, so a total of 6 crates. at a 50/50 chance, I still have gotten nothing but rare... wtf

 

Is 723 correct on defensive weapon stat's and 723 attack on warrior Mitch? Seems rather high to me for VC compared to previous items of ~600

 

It should be correct, I watched the designer put the numbers in myself. I'll double check them again just to be sure.

 

the odds are definitely better and the price makes it more affordable for sure, good one, i think either all attack or all defense alternated throughout the year is best for those items

 

Update: 7 crates bought, 1 legendary, 6 rare. Sorry Kano that isn't 50/50. Mitch, please address this somehow as apparently the mathematics are either broken or something. It's a waste of my money and I won't buy any more if this is the case of what I can expect.

 

Sorry to hear you haven't had good luck on the Crates. As a reminder it is a 50/50 chance per crate to get a Rare or Legendary item. This does not mean that if you buy 10 Crates you will get five of each item type.

I will get the developers to double check the payouts, but it's important to remember your odds reset to zero every time you buy a Crate.

 

50% pigs arse ,,,, 3 crates gave me 3 of the same crap rare item

 

Why spend then if ya think its wacked come on Shane you know better!
