Perhaps you should join the growing collective that is demanding Kano remove the ability to perish a raid party! Simple solution
No, I haven't looked through all 61 pages to see if I'm duplicating ideas with someone else. No, I don't care that it bothers you. Suggestion 1: A means to remove deadweight. If you join you have 1 hour to start doing damage, then you should become removal-eligible. If you haven't done damage in the past 24 hours, you should become removal-eligible. Suggestion 2: A means to remove the stoopid. Not just the regular kind of stupid, that special kind of stoopid, the one that doesn't understand that if Health goes to zero that EVERYONE gets to start all over again with that Raid Boss. Whomever does the final hit before the Health goes to zero should be removal-eligible. Suggestion 3: Adjust population of the tiers in accordance with the level-population of the game. If you're intending this to be a bottom-third, middle-third, top-third type of delineation, the lines shouldn't be arbitrarily 4000 and 6500, but reflective of what levels the active players reside.
wow can't be bothered too look and see all of this has been mentioned over and over and over since the inception of raids , and ya came up with this all by your lonesome, lol
Thanks Kano, for making it a 3rd rerun of an old obsolete raid boss, I am saving a ton of fp, not bothering with these old ones. Mi7ch, will you continue to make me save money?
I have to agree. I wasn't nearly as active in raids this time around. Might have to make that the norm going forward.
http://prntscr.com/bsdy30 this is just one screen shot of this player that has killed his raid before it even started then after it started killed it three more times and is still asking on job chat for people to join. Now this is what I was talking about in another thread but this isn't right. I did my own first raid and was constantly checking to make sure no one killed it, was way too much trouble to keep doing this so I am not doing another one next time. I want to play the game to have fun, not to stress out over these raid killers. I did not join his raid btw I just saw it come across job chat a bunch of times so I got nosey
P.S. I am now for limiting the levels that can join to at least 500 and above because this really sucks
I had sat out the previous 4 raids (since I joined) because of all the animosity. I participated in 7 this time and here are the results. One perished very early, 1 completed, 5 not completed due to the mid and high levels joining and camping and not doing anything. I did double and triple the minimum requirements in all but the perished raid. So, it would appear that the protest is still going-on in that the mids and highs are camping. I'm all for a removal option and maybe even a tweak where if you do double the minimum requirements you get a loot drop regardless if the raid is completed or not.
Another raid request: Seeing how the only option is 20 energy for healing, I would like to see the same for attacks. Just yet another way to deter raid leeches - means they can't just do a single stamina attack just to reach 1000 attacks and 1000 heals.
All very good ideas but I still think that the min should be 500 and I know the protest is still going on as only one of my mob actually did the most for my raid besides some of my family that are not big but did participate and did their best. I was in two others, one perished from a level 350 who never healed, after I poured a lot of stam in it, I was second, and the other completed. I know the high levels have their concerns and they should be addressed, but why punish us doing these raids and trying to advance, why not help us or just don't join. I had my slots full some I wanted to delete but there is no option I am not doing anymore until everyone is happy, whatever level they are. Can an admin look at this thread and comment please? thank you
Be careful which raids you join i joined around 10 and they all were finished and all but one were invites and a few were from the newer players, i also have not heard the boycott is still on this event, there have always been apot takers snd there always will be that is nothing new.
Just becasue one as low level does not have the resources to complete min, does not mean they should not be changed. How about this no one under level 1000 should be able join or open a raid. Raids should be earned, not just open to all.
My feeling is if a player cannot take their own raid, down, they should not be opening one and expect someone or others to take it down I have always felt that way. No one is required to do more than the min, and ya gotta be careful who you invite and which ones you join, in one game I cannot take my own down so I don't open it, in two other games I can so I open three usually in both games besides the ones I join, that are 99 and 3/4 % safe and private
I think that deliberate killing the raids is not the way to do things, I ask all my mob first but it goes to feed that no one looks at, it should go to the boss feed like any other. I invited all I could that i thought would help me, some never even did the min, and I could not delete them to open it to whoever could at least do the min. I poured stam in mine and was 1 and 2 though out. I was able to take it down before the time limit, but someone was nice enough to do it for me. I just don't like that they kill the raid, just for whatever reason. I know that the min to joined was discussed in another thread, but now the other ideas that people raised were also very good and I hope they find a fix so that these things succeed. I only did three and I did more than the min, but to join 10 or 15 and just do the min, why so they level faster?
See , "Ya thought," they would help , I notice sometimes, people invite high levels and just assume they will and there are certain ones in most of the games, that usually don't , all the time, so never assume just cause someone is a high level , they will do the min or more than the min, they prob have their reasons, but who knows, ya really have to know the people and know how they play and know they are even interested in raids, ya just gotta be more picky So it is not really something that has to be fixed as it is more being sure you know the people you invite will do at least the min, unfortunately, the longer you play and if ya look at raids ya not even on you can get a feel for what players do, one way or another.
