What do you think of the new MySpace?

This is obviously a question for the MySpace players, what do you guys think of the new MySpace?

There were some issues that impacted our games, is it getting better or worse?

 

There is a tool bar that minimizes the screen and now i can't see the top of the page where the xp bar is and the stamina, ect is.. you have to scroll up to see they xp and stamina when you're battling too. really not better or worse....just really bad,

 

absolutely hate it! it has stayed consistently bad and not user friendly. wide sweeping changes such as theirs make no sense to me, Many of the simple to do tasks have become quite the headache to accomplish or even to figure out how to do.....and have affected apps in a negative way

 

I too have sent a complaint into my space - there was no need to change - everything was simple/quick and easy to skip from page to page- it has now changed my screen on viking game play - it limits the screen so I can no longer se clearly between say a boss attack and bounty space/exp level - hate it to a point of leaving.

 

i HATE IT.i had a thread in myspace forum and without hesitation they closed it.i made a new one and they delete it.obvious they are one sided.

if it were possible to move my myspace account to facebook without losing my clan size and items id jump on that.sides myspace new design is a cheap copy of facebook.

ok this is perfect to take out daily stress and bitch a bit about

the new myspace format is so disturbing when i play my game .. i cant see who attack me or who help me in adventure or who join my elite

that thing on top >>> top my stuff.. my friends .. profile ..video .. topics is on top of my game <<< its like a myspace abuse
and THEYspace member dont have choice and have to look at that for 24/7 lol
and no way we can take that of so its like forced to us !!

i understand that panel is for myspace to look more cool and im ok with that when i use myspace pages and when im not playing games ..
but when we go to game apps its just IN THE WAY !!!
for example we have laptop or pc and we have all this diferent stuff like desktop short cuts and Taskbar on bottom of screen so we can go from one page to other and one folder to other .. and its make sense
but when u click to play game on your laptop like resident evil or counter strike or for example race game need for speed or something ,
Than all desktop Taskbars short cuts and folders are gone and we have full screen of game so we can enjoy the Game and forget all work programs or internet pages ..

so i call it we need more private space and its not any more myspace its theyspace lmao

 

what do you think of the new my space

I absolutely hate it the new look has greatly effected my game play as it makes me have to scroll up and down to see or do what i want all the time where i used to just be able to look without scrolling

Hi Kendal - I just a reply from My Space with regards to the complaint about the new site - they are basically saying "New changes - New Look - get used to it " - in no uncertain terms. What happened to the saying that - if its not broken don't fix it!!! These new tool bars slice off the top part of the game screen- i don't suppose anyone can now see clearly what is going on - I used to be able to attack a boss but still see when a bounty came up - Can't now....and so many more annoying things.....I can appreciate change when change is needed - but no one wanted it!!!

The new Myspace is horrific in every possible way.

The additional resources now needed just to have a myspace page open because of their nifty little flash coding that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I don't really want to see tentacles coming down my screen from the top left, or eyeballs, or anything else for that matter!!

on other apps, I've gone to opening their frame separate from myspace which allows me to play the game without the constant interference of Their Space.

My Space has been covered up to allow for their advertisements and obsessive need to constantly be in my face.

I've never used Myspace IM because it's ALWAYS been buggy....

Now I have constant IMs from spam profiles wanting me to go check out their camera site, or asking if I'd like some viagra, or a baldness cure.... my hair is half way down my back.... I don't think baldness is an issue for me right now... as for viagra... well that's none of anyone's business except mine, hers, hers, hers, hers, hers, and mine.
I go to my account settings and guess what.... Myspace IM is disabled.... yet it's enabled!! Why? Who knows, but it needs to stop!!!

oh and I'm lazy, I save my passwords on my computer..... IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THE NEW MYSPACE!!!

I swear it's like they pulled the coding out of a middle school comp lab.

 

i HATE this new "facespace" crap and it DOES affect the game play like so many others ahead of me on this has said the list is scroll up scroll down BLAH BLAH BLAH yeah..... If its gonna be like FB cant i just transfer my ZS and other Kano apps to FB and not HAVE to start over it would be so much easier.

Good idea there .. but not Facebook - screen is to small lol
i will be happy if there was different web JUMP ... so i log in in Myspace and than there will be link to click from game and all this myspace top-bars all gone and we have full screen to play game .. man that will be so much to enjoy thanks for idea Satanist !!

 

go to google.com search google chrome, first result should be what you need to download.

(this is a web browser so I doubt mentioning it violates any rules)

once web browser google chrome is installed, log into myspace, access the game you wish to play. right click anywhere in said game, and select option "open frame in new tab" or Window. play game free of (TheirSpace/FaceSpace/annoying BS) bar obscuring view.

strange, works for me everytime. I've done 200, 100 in new tab, 100 in new window. and not a single one didn't load.



I'm currently using Windows 7 home premium. maybe that's the X factor here?

alright... firing up the virtual computers... see if vista, xp, 2k, 98, 95, MacOSX, ect have any difference.

 

HAHA yea i have vista premium on home pc and that didnt work so i just open my laptop and i have windows 7 Ultimate and did work thanks >> that feel good ..

same trick works with firefox.
right click on page and hit view selection source.hit new tab and same effect.no bar.

glad theres a way around it for now.
