Under the old system if you didn't claim on day 7 you would not lose your daily reward. Instead the percentage for the 8th day would drop down to 10% Energy but since only the last 7 days counted the 10% for day 1 would fall off the end and you would still be left with 340%: 20% + 30% + 40% + 60% + 80% + 100% +10%. So each day the amount on the back would get moved to the front. You were always adding up the same %tages, only the order changed so the total stayed at 340% until collected. Now with the new system on day 8 the 10% drops out like before but the daily %tage added from day 7 onwards is always 100% until on day 13 you have a string of 7 x 100%. 10% + 20% + 30% + 40% + 60% + 80% + 100%+ 100%+ 100%+ 100%+ 100%+ 100%+ 100%. (only the last 7 days count) That's kind of right about the 700%. 13 days after the last claim (and if unclaimed) you can get a maximum of 700% Energy. If you claim on day 13 then on day 14 (the last day of the 2nd week) you could actually claim another 10% for a day's worth making it 710% energy for the full fortnight (although you would probably leave it claim on day 13 and start building again from day 14).
If it were up to me I wouldn't have bothered with the stacking 'fix'. All it means is some of us will have to change our style of play slightly. There were really only 3 situations where the extra stamina could make a difference: Battle Arena, Guild Wars and Bounty Hunting, where running out of stamina might mean you lose the kill if you have to stop to reload. Okay if I am still over my max. when I level up I lose bonus but that's my problem. Still can't say I've heard a good reason from Kano as to why this feature had to be fixed.

No, it keep's adding 100% in your example (but can only save up 7 boosts), and if miss a day of play in it restarts. Log in daily energy only, you will collect 100% every day from now on. If swap it to stamina (guessing it's same in your game) you will get 50% stamina every day instead, how hard is it to grasp a simple concept?
You don't actually say which bit you are saying, No, to and the rest of your post doesn't give much of a clue. But from what you say here it could be 1 of 2 thing that you have misunderstood about my post and the update. The first could be that you think I am trying to say that, even if you don't claim you go back to 10% on the 13th day. I don't bother saying that if you don't collect or miss a day you keep getting 100%/day. I didn't say this for 2 reasons. I was explaining to Scoughman how you could get not 700% but 710% from a full 2 weeks and that fact that once you get to day 7 the reward now stays at 100% Energy/day until missed or collected instead of dropping back to 10% Energy, was the whole point of the update. If instead you are trying to say that from now on whenever you collect you get 100% Energy per day from day 1, then that, I think, is wrong. I can't say for sure because I haven't collected since the update but as post #1 mentions a day 7 reward that would imply that a day 1 reward still exists. I don't think you do get 100% Energy on day 1, I think you have to start at 10% Energy (5% Stamina) the day after you collect or miss a day. Either of these you could have been inferred from post #1. mine didnt cross over i reset today on viking, i signed in at 7 30 am yesterday, today i signed in at 9 30 am and it reset i dont get it i thought you had longer than that to sign in....
exactly with time change that you can collect it has caused mine to reset even tho i signed in yesterday and today i signed in and it reset on me there was a 29 hr difference between sign in times but both on different days? please look into this now it throws the time reset off each day now. I sent in ticket to show proof with my clan points i havent missed a day but on daily rewards it says i did....... i signed in at 7 30 am yesterday, today i signed in at 9 30 am and it reset i dont get it i thought you had longer than that to sign in....
Nope. The same thing happened to me once. I usually collect my daily rewards after I get home from work. I had a problem one day and couldn't get home until after 10 pm. Even though I logged in that morning, that didn't count as a log in for that day, so my rewards started over because I "missed" a day. You have to make sure you log in at least once after the timer has counted down, otherwise it doesn't count. Whether or not it's an actual 24 hour day doesn't make a difference.
aint that some crap basically you better sign in 2 times a day then 1 in the morning and 1 in the night if you dont wanna miss ur daily reward then that really aint a daily reward if you think about its a 24 hr reward i think the reward needs a touch of there can be almost a 47 hr difference in signing in on 2 days, also i started playing daily on vc and this was my first full week reward and it got set back due to some technically glitch not a god way for a returning warrior to be treated
The response from support on this issue was a joke they treated like I was a moron and tried to explain the system to me Like I havent played there apps for 1400 days straight and dont understand how it works and its a slap in the face they dont get it when you show them you did not miss your daily points for your group but your daily rewards reset that makes no sense and I really kinda upset how they handled it. its simple tue sign in at 9 am wed signed in at 9 am i did not collect daily thrus signed in at 11 am and daily is gone that is basically what happened how hard is it to understand there is a problem with your system the reset clock does not change and stay the same no matter the time frame of the day you sign on and that is not a daily reward this makes it to where you have to sign in at the same time every day. Hope you life dont post pone that for a few hours and you miss out and all your days of consective play is gone..... Thanks kano
Maybe so. But sometimes, if I end up working a 12 hour day, or have to deal with taking my car to the shop after work so that I can get to work the next day, I don't feel like playing. Maybe that's just me.
