they do carry some great deal but not what they used to compared with the new items that came out you have to remember these numbers was set against items that was 117 att n def now they are 5 times stronger so in turn the formula or stat however they figure for the att n def should be up by about 5 times to keep up with new items. Also gathering boss items was the best way to be the strongest you wasnt nothing if you was just buying that wasnt enough you had to have the top bosses too, now you really dont need the boss's thats the issue....... raids and items can now out do what the main focus of the game was and now it is lost I think this is why the old timers are so upset. We played it cause it was evenly based for the longest just cause you spent didnt make you all mighty like it does now. You had to have skill points in right spot, alot of boss drops and items bought it was a mixture now you dont need skill points near as much as you used to or the boss items.

Begs the question why have the old GF items not been upgraded, to keep up with the game. Everything else has had a face lift.

im seeing the big picture, they dont wanna change stats none of us use's the pawnshop, so thus why have boss items greater than the crappiest stuff we bought 7 years ago thats why they say its on par if they would up the stats greater than raid items and lowest GF items we then would be using the pawnshop and not flat out buying the new items, if kano does not change the stats of items 3 years or older than my statement above can be concluded to be true ITS all about the mighty $

OK guys, I've put a big (two page!) list together of your concerns/suggestions and I'm going to break it out among the three of us to go into our suggestion backlog and address why or how we could touch on these issues. Might take another day or two but we're working on it. In the meantime, we're currently looking at the Daily Rewards thing in this week's sprint, so might have some news for you on that front very soon.

I dont have a pawn sbop option. I know it was discussed but it did not materialise. Out of curiousity i wonder why older players had to pay full price for hired gang (and they were expensive) and the new recruits were subsidised hugely. Hired gang was key component of building a mob and mob strength. I know several older players that are still getting their full mob with nk benefits to them. The referral system created a massive imbalance not just because of the alts issue. How do the three admins intend on resolving this basic discrepency

I would be one of these players, and I know others as well. Not to mention loyalty items I can't use, not being able to reach the highest loyalty tier (although the items probably aren't worth it, anyway), and a host of other things, some of which have been mentioned in this thread and others. I guess we'll have to wait a few more months (years?) to see what the Three Stooges come up with, ho hum.

Like Mitch said, I meant Mitch, myself and Tatum, the three members of the Support team. ;) Our whole company is about 20 folks in total.

Just talking specifically about mob right now, the only support new players had for hireds was the Starter Packs (which offer a maximum of 86 hireds total). If you want a full 1000 hireds, we're only talking 8.6% of the total needed that could be bought at a discount not available to higher levels. We are working on a similar package for sale to higher levels, but we figured most of you aren't looking for hireds at this point as you've likely collected 1k by now. If you guys are talking about players using the referral system to find more friendly mobsters (non-hired), those players are now in the game and I'm sure many of them would love to mob up with pros like you guys!

The Pawn Shop does exist currently, but it only allows you to trade in items you aren't currently using, which I doubt you guys have. I'm definitely into discussing how we could make that feature more useful to you, as I think it's got the best potential for offsetting the power creep of Limited items over time.

I like this part ----- maybe something can be done-- hint maybe items that are 2 yrs old, another thing you could do is make a unique craft item that takes so many fps and so many crappy items like xtra boss drops etc. that sit in our stock pile and craft a decent item something with same stats as a common raid item this also could be upgraded stat's later or a new item which could say change every 6 months something like that maybe

  15. @Scoughman The #1 gripe I have heard, and I share is that the game fight mechanics were designed before the introduction of powerful weapons. If nothing can be done to adjust them, you now have 70 day old accounts that simply bought 2000 weapons, Armors and Vehicles beating 7 year daily old players 3000 levels ahead of them by 5-10%. That is a huge problem. How about this as an easy solution? How about rolling the cagematch fight type from Pirate Clan over. The code is already there, tweek it and put it into LCN.

For those unfamiliar with this. In Kano's Pirate Clan there is an additional fight option called the "cagematch" where you fight your opponent based on your Attack and your armed loadout, vs your opponent's Defense and their armed loadout. It allows strong pirates with a weak inventory, or pirates without 2000 mateys the ability to fight and win against better equipped pirates. You can't chain somebody like you can with fights, it's limited to 20 or so. IMHO introducing cagematch to LCN would restore a bit of balance between the accounts that leveled through purchases of superior weapons and forces. It would definitely correct the ability of higher level accounts to retaliate and win.

  16. For the same reason that the TV, laptop and phone I purchased 3 years ago haven't been updated. Sure they cost more than a newer item and aren't as good. But I used them for 3 years. Designed obsolescence? Progress? Call it whatever you like, we all bought items and now there are newer items that are better. We purchase items, knowing that the newer ones will be better, or keep waiting for new items to come out, or wait for a good item to hit the sale shelf at old Kano-Mart. Sure we didn't know there would be such a massive escalation in power, and honestly I don;t think Kano did either. Everything just comes out 3-10 better than the last. If they cap them items, people might stop buying, and we all want Kano to stay in business. That's life.

A precedent was set when they updated old GF items before when Miami was the top city. It's not like it cannot be done.
Basically what one should say then to everyone is hey don't buy any GF items, it's like burning real cash? Now surely that's not what people want to hear.
Your reason is rather flawed, I can sell my old laptop, tv and phone. I cannot do anything with my old GF stuff!!!

There is no limit to how often some one can cage another player it is a lazy way to play it is meant for new players not established long term players , it would most certainly not be good for any of the kano games it is the worst feature of Pirate Clan.It is not designed for strong players it was designed for players that do not craft or do bosses , or players that actually like to fight they do not need full clan either the can just stack thei attack skill points , they are the worst hit and hiders and if you were even lucky enough to be able to retaliate the drop the worst XP there is and it uses more stamina than a regular fight , it is the reason a player can set 75 counters(ambushes) while the other three games can only set 10 once you reach around level 1000 or so

  19. I like the pawn shop idea. Maybe consideration could be give to the early Optimal crafts such as the Handcuffs and the Cane blades etc, that is something that can be done that will effect the longest playing/highest level players who have completed these Bosses several times over for XP and gave up crafting the drops. Now we could use them for something..

@ Scoughman You talk like you have done so much for the higher levels - like put out a couple of new cities over the past year. Seriously? The new cities did crap to help me. I was already so far past the boss drops that opening them is really just a waste of my time and stamina. And I am not much of a spender in items so it is not like i bought a ton of items and that was the reason. I realize there is only a limited number of higher levels but you want to do something for higher levels start with putting out enough cities that the highest level is not even there yet. You set up the game with the new BA to help newer players level (doesn't help older levels too much as the exp attacking and killing low levels is crap and a waste of stamina if trying to level) and the RAIDS benefit lower levels with awesome items for their level that are pretty much crap for higher levels - especially for the amount of stamina and energy it takes to do an amount of damage typically "expected" from higher levels. If I wanted to spend 40 fps on a raid, I might as well just buy a limited item and get a better item AND save 10 fps. And for higher levels trying to use RAIDS to level is a joke. Yet with all these changes for speed leveling, you are still so slow in making new cities to catch up to the highest levels.

IF you really wanted to do something for higher levels, make there some better advantage to being a higher level. Give players a real reason to level. Right now staying a low level and spending on items is much more advantageous than getting higher in levels. The higher the level the less protection you have from people who stay below you and spend - if you can beat them, they can just avoid attacking you and you can't attack them. If they can beat you, there is nothing you can do if they decide to chain you. And after playing almost 3.5 years and being extremely high in levels, because I am not a bigger spender, many players 1/3 my level who do spend can beat me all day long. Often I wish I had just stayed a lower level and never tried so hard to level. But I had always thought there would be cities ahead of me that would give me an advantage with job drops and boss drops - which was true until about the time I reached RTP. That is about the time the drops and crafts lost their huge push to my total strength. Antarctica and Moon were better but the last two were crap. And since you are short another 4-5 cities that I should have seen by now, I am sure the next city is not going to help me much either.

So please don't try to convince me you care about the higher level because your actions speak louder than your words.
