What exactly are the long time players wanting that they don't already have ? The need for more advantage over new players can't be it surely. Or is this just about the long term players who refuse to spend money on a game they play everyday ? For this game to grow new players who spend money deserve incentives and those who spend nothing deserve nothing.

Ahh I see the long time players want a maxed mob because new players were given a one time bonus on hg... The deal was nice but it wasn't as great as your all making it out to be... Instead of crying why don't you all spend money and quit wanting everything for free and just be glad new players are joining the fold.

We've spent thousands over the years. There is no reason for a level 170 to be able to beat a player over level 8000. Do you think that players that have played this game and paid for the development of the game for 7 years don't deserves incentives? We were only given 30 day protection and no fancy packages to buy and exploit or exploited the rewards program, a lot of us weren't even given the rewards program. So has been an unfair disadvantage to many players as a result. Not all new players used exploits but several have.

When the game first started most already had incentives by using multiple accounts to level the main up. And multiple accounts are still clear today. The long time players who spent as much as I have or more should already have everything. This though is about those who refuse to spend and are crying because your being beat by those who do spend... You can't blame kanos new player incentive because most messed up...

Kano do not buckle to the non spenders pressure but give those who have spent hundreds/thousands an extra 100FP to shut them up.

the non spenders would not have a game without the spenders and Kano would not have a company, Non spenders are not annoyed at kano, the Spenders are, you seem out of the loop, and if players want to boycott a raid event, they will, and if most long time players do, ya gonna see alot of raids, not get finished, I imagine, I never like raids, I wish they were never implemented, so for that reason I will boycott the raid in LCN. That has always been my message to kano.

And that,s what kills any game ...A ) Stagnation(failure to attract and maintain new blood) and B) None spenders seriously outnumbering the spenders. I did a lot a lot of research on Zyngas MW and all indications at the emd were there was between 7 and 9k regular spenders left when the closure was announced.... Amongst these were big spenders and I mean big ($100k not a problem) I was in awe when i attended an auction on a FB page(2012) where one account was being auctioned off , Yes Big accounts were bought and sold. The auction I viewed the account sold for $72,000. MW did indeed have 1 mil daily players the answer to the numbers lies in Zyngas finacial returns not someones opinion. My opinion based upon research said at the end there were 100k accounts playing the game but only 20% were actually live players the rest were as called here Alts

Accounts in MW became obsolete at level 300k My level was 36k and with that I would level 40 to 50 times a day . I had 140k stamina to use per level(50x 130k stamina = 6.8 million stamina per day to use) Not long ago the max stam att was 5 . Thats 1.36 MILLION CLICKS PER DAY, CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?

One account I know had 1.5 million stamina per level and there is/was no reason to suggest that she too wasnt levelng 50 times a day.
Scripts are cheating? or are they? They are only cheats if they give the user an unfair advantage and not available to all but what if the author of a game makes a scrip available to all. At cost of course. Still cheating ? .

Seems to me some here just want the same old same old peeing inside the tent ad infinitum and Newbys aint welcome. Any money I spend altho not a big spender( $500 in a month) is seen by the green eyed monster as an intrusion on their free game . Well guess what? There is a new game in town yeeeehaaaaaaaa and I'm in on the ground floor and my money spends anywhere . And yes I'm as sure as i can be scripts will not only be allowed but will be for sale by the authors :D

I am beginning to realize the devs will not address this issue and are waiting for it to go away. wondering if they are familiar with mob wars, the game most of us played before we came here?

@Mary Lou What is it specifically we're not addressing? I'm talking to quite a range of players right now about different issues. We have banned people who abused the Referrals exploit, which is the topic of this thread.

The problem here is that those of us whom have played for a very long time have never received any freebies, I can't remember if I had 30day protection when i started but what we want is to be treated fairly equally. The incentives MW players were given was just like a kick in the teeth for the people whom joined before the incentives regardless of level. It should be an even playing field & you get to earn your stripes the hard way just like everybody else instead of having it handed to you on a gold platter. So What if Zynga closed down their game this Kano, a totally different company, & a totally different game, I played MW heck I even went inactive on LCN to play that rubbish!

Kano do like to do one thing that much I know & that is discriminate & they don't even abide by their own TOS & will make any exscuse to shut you up that is how much you as a player/customer mean to them that is except if you are a Mafia Wars player!

@Tony_G I understand the argument, and it definitely isn't our intention to coddle certain groups over others or intentionally do anything unfair. The main reason we brought in 60 day protection was because as time goes on, the higher levels get further and further away from a new player's position, and new players have a tougher time than people who joined a couple years ago.

LOL and just how is it tougher ?? same stuff different day. tired of the generic replies that don't address a thing, just rhetoric. it's like watching political primary!

@Curves As a new player, and really in the game as a whole, it's set up so you fight people in the same level range and get maximum XP that way. However, we let people punch and list each other regardless of fight range over level 300. So if you joined the game 30-60 days ago and there are level 10,000+ players who can list you, when you have trouble listing them back or rigging ignition because of their high income, that's pretty tough. And if you joined a few years ago when that player was lower in level, it wouldn't be as tough. I'm sorry if I was vague, hopefully this helps explain what I meant.

naughty, that post made by mi7ch you are replying to is a bunch of hooey, hun. it's bolognia and not the kosher kind. so what the referral program has been expanded to include us? as many have already pointed out, if you didn't play mafia wars, and you don't know the people, how does it help ... LMAO
