[FB] Total Gamer Points Season Error

I have seen many minor bugs/errors over the duration of my time playing the Game, but this is one I have never seen before! Experiencing Game bugs/errors is not uncommon and you will find them on just about every (if not all) Games out there. On Mob Wars, we have experienced double "Death Blows" in Syndicate Wars, our Game Feeds being different every time we click on them, and many other things I could go on and on about. One bug/error I had not seen before, recently earned our Syndicate a first place finish for Total Gamer Points last Season. I can't count the number of times [AG] has completed all of our Daily Gamer Points for a Season, resulting in what would be a tie if it weren't a race to finish completing your Daily Gamer Points first on the final day of the Season in order to actually earn that first place trophy, but this last Season we won by earning 2,800,700 Total Gamer Points. And yes, as the picture below shows, that number is not a typo - we really did manage to somehow earn 700 more Points than allowed by the Game (or is supposed to be possible)!

This is a known issue we are tracking and are fixing the Gamer Point totals as we go. We hope to have this fixed soon.

 

I make my living with computers, and am a complete freak when it comes to keeping all of my PC's updated, consistently clean caches/clear cookies for web browsers, scan daily for malware/viruses, restart the entire PC at least once per day, etc.! If you visit the Syndicate Leaderboard, click on the "Last Season" tab, then click on the "Points" link for Gamer Points, you can still see our score of 2,800,700! At least you didn't have a player do his gamers... then have them erased. I KNOW for a fact that one of ours (Relentless Killer) did his gamers, and they were erased by end of day... happened twice that week and cost us AT LEAST 3rd place. I think it was one of those weeks where nobody did 2.8, and we should have won, but I'm not positive. And what did Kano do about that Mitch??????

I'll let Support know to fix it. I know a more permanent fix is incoming.

 

Slightly aside: How is the order decided if more than one syn get the max score?

 

first syndicate to start their gamer points for the season gets the tiebreaker.

In guild or whatever, leave ant re-enter, presto....... on 1st day.

 

So 2 months on and still no fix in sight?
