Noob here what should i focus on when adding Skill Points to energy, stamina, health, attack & defense?
There are multiple answers to that question all based upon what type of player you want to be. The general rule of thumb is get to 500 energy and 50 stamina first as those are the amounts you receive when you level. From there it is all about how you play the game and by the time you get the energy and stamina you will probably have a pretty good idea. Lot of health for going after bosses and punches. Attack if you want to fight, defense if you don't want to get attacked and lose all the time. Energy/Stamina if all you care about is leveling. A little of everything the balanced approach. And many more I have overlooked. Be your own player. Play and have fun.
As Rafe says. Generally you add around 550 Energy/55-60 stamina to begin with so you don't lose anything when you level. Personally I would carry on adding to stamina and energy for the first 1000 levels while keeping your health at around 15 times your level. Look at attack and defence later. You can compensate for them by being active about getting mobs.
there is no "wrong" way to do this. that being said, forget about defense. as you move up, the players become very attack heavy.
defense may help you early on, but it becomes more and more useless as you level up, so i would forget about defense.
I guess it depends on what game you actually play and what platform. On Kong LCN, almost everyone is ATTACK heavy - so much so that some of these players that can beat a level 8000 but a weak level 2000 can beat them.
Yes, everything depends on which kind of player you want to be^^ Huge attack/small def : very good for hitlists, and for winning against everyone in PvP Huge def / small att : very good healing in SW, but it will be hard for you in PvP.. You can also put everything in stam/health, and a minimum in att/def... Do what you want, and don't forget to answer : What are my goals here? (hitlist, SW, levelling..) Once you have your answer, define your SP spending strategy
I applied everything to Stamina as I knew from day 1 that I was going to try and do a lot of leveling and so I was willing to sacrifice strength so that when I refilled stamina I was not getting a refill of 1000 but 3000... or like now where one of my recently retired leveling partners had 2500 stamina I had 7500. It took him over 3 refills to do 5k attacks and I could do it with almost just one.
That's a massive stamina! You must be able to attack forever during BA! Particularly if you keep the dailies/your boost for this occasion!
Just work towards the Achievements, Jayyy, and you'll get a feel for what priority to have as you go along. Like @RafeDavid said, you'll definitely was 500+ energy and 50+ stamina ASAP because of the level up bonus's.
BA works well..... As with the RAIDS, I recently stopped participating with BA. In BA I typically could get 2nd most of the time, sometimes 1st. But there were two other big spenders I always had to try to out do and I would spend more on fp refills than I would get back and because most of the people I am attacking in BA are way .... way below my level, the experience sucked. So it really was not worth it. Plus, in some testing where I would attack the same target as a couple of the big spenders and we would compare points, it seems that the stronger you are and more damage you do the more points you get.... which basically just translates into I had to do more attacks to keep up with the amount of points they were getting. With Kong LCN only having something like 267 people in BA in the last one, it is hard to have enough targets. It is like a race to see who can get the small list first and since I don't attack any faster but i need more attacks to keep up, I was starting to have a hard time even keeping 2nd LOL But yes the stamina is nice for things like RAIDS, BA, bosses, and PVP. I have been working on Energy lately and finally have it to almost 5200. ;-) Goal is 6,000 for now.
