[LCN] Next event times

Really? That must be the worst timing ever.

 

We asked if people wanted it changed and most said no.

 

when was this? i heard something about most players not wanting it changed from Thanksgiving day. are we using that same information to imply that most players don't mind it being on Christmas Eve as well?

 

and would this also apply to the 5 day calendar that i presume will be running over the Christmas holiday weekend next week?

 

When was this question asked? I know I won't be on as much during the holidays which others will also take time off from the game.

 

it was an in game survey posted in the news feed one day. it was mentioned in a thread somewhere here about a month ago. it sounds as if there were no significant complaints about an event running over a holiday weekend, so it will probably become the norm now.

 

I think I remember that now but it was talking about thanksgiving and Labor day (i think).

Incorrect. Christmas is celebrated by a wider range of people than labour day or thanksgiving.

 

Agreed Christmas is more of a Global holiday and should fall into a classification of it's own. I recall the survey and I took it to mean all holidays not just the upcoming one or two.

 

I couldn't care less what day it falls on, I would rather not have raids at all, anyway.

People are always asking in chat, "when is the next raids,calender,etc.?". I think it would be great if there was a calender for scheduled upcoming events on the home page. Then we could all "Be prepared" like good little Boyscouts. LOL

Yes. Obviously I want more. It does not show raid events coming up days ahead of time, and blitz events are also short-notice.

 

I caught the last 1 minute 30 seconds of today's event. I had no idea that one was planned..

In fact the only reason I found out at all was that I just happened to check my twitter feed!

A notification in advance SOMEWHERE would be great.

There are no notifications for the Hitlist Blitz before it starts. It is, by design, a random event.
