[LCN] New Location Available: Victoria!

we were told the new locations would be coming in a timely manner..... 6 months+ is timely ? no, it's not, and you know it as well as i do. this is exactly what happened after we bitched last time about how long it took. please don't make me go back and look for your post on this.... i will if i have to, but i am sure you recall this as i do. are we going to have to wait another 6 months now, until we're so damned bored we're ready to just walk ? i almost flashed a note to kano last night on the timeline for a new city.... i felt it couldn't take another month... glad i saved myself from being redundant !

see, mitch, the progression of a & d assigned to each job drop isn't the issue, the issue is that we waited SIX months..... if we'd waited 2 or 3 months, THEN these numbers wouldn't be an issue, as we'd be needing this infusion of items. but now, for me, and a number of others i speak to ingame, these items aren't even being seen on our used armaments lists ! if this city was opened 3 months ago.... many of us would have welcomed it. now, useless. see what i mean ? bring the next city out in a 2-3 month timeframe, and maybe then we'll more appreciate the natural progression.

 

i'm guessing it's been closer to 9 months since moon was opened. I've seen a 71 moon. 71 x 3 days so that's actually closer to 7.5 months...kind of like prague, berlin, etc. I think a new city should open every 60-90 days to keep people interested. The dropdown list for the cities are getting very long. It's hard to see on the cell phone as it doesn't drop that length. Maybe the old cities should be renewed as a level 2 or a return to....

 

also, wheres Australia, apart from the very stereotypical sydney level?

 

Victoria?, ok I would have gone for Vancouver first, but ok Victoria. How about Bogata Columbia. Could have made the Return to Paris a trip to Marseille instead, and Sicilly, or Rome or Milan Italy, Montreal Canada. What's the heroin trade without a trip to Afghanistan or Iran?. A large part of it starts in Afghanistan. Or would that be too realistic?. You tell me.

 

I still promote the idea of a non-level based city. Amsterdam! Everyone likes to go there, and it has it all (prostitution,drugs,gangs,opression,scams,fraud,murder...). The possibilities for creative development are unlimited.

 

Your post is absurd. You note yourself that there is already an Australian city. Yet there are many countries with not even one city.

I don't like this idea, makes no sense and is not needed new and lower players have alot to look forward to, enough with coddling lower levels, they barely have to work for anything anymore.

 

I, myself, can't wait to kick a** in Victoria. I mean, kick Victoria's a**. I mean... well, you know what I mean.

 

It´s not about "coddling" new players but making the game more interesting for everyone. I am sure it could be worked out that every level player can "profit" from a non-level city.

 

The new city can also be limited to level 500 and up or something like that.

You are totally right. This late city is not good enough to keep high levels playing this game.
Kano works fast on things that make them more money and a new city is not a money maker.
The workshop sucks. The things you can make are not much better than the drops. The drops for the moon sucked and they suck even more. The second job drop string of pearls 99/107 Are you kidding? What good is a high boss if the high players cannot use the drops ?
I do not care what they are in line with in your mind Kano, They do nothing for high levels, so why bother? You have gotten us to do tones of raids, for tons of gf points and then the drops you give us are useless.

Why? Low levels have plenty of things to do since they level so fast. It's mainly the mid and upper levels that can use a new city.

 

Canadian city? And what's the boss, the fearsome KanoApps staff?
