Player Bans November 9 - November 15

As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes.

The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us.

If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved.

During the next Raid Event you will notice that Raid Bosses now have their own tab on the Boss page, similar to how Challenges have their own space next to Jobs.

Thank you @mi7ch for writing up my section of the TGIF last Friday. We were seeing some unexpected alerts with my email system and I wanted to make sure my work was backed up in case it went kaput.

It's been an interesting week. The recent tragedy in Paris has been on our minds, as it has with many of our players. We know many people feel strongly about topics such as the international response to this and other acts of terror, as well as the policies on the handling of refugees.

While I believe that interest in and discussion of these topics is important and necessary, I'll remind everyone that comments that paint all people of a particular religion, national origin, or ethnicity as dangerous or inferior are not acceptable. So don't be racist.

We did have a player contact us suggesting we do a special item sale to raise funds for the relief efforts. I think it's a great idea -- unfortunately campaigns like that have some pretty strict legal requirements and we're not set up to handle them on short notice. However we do encourage anyone interested in helping out to consider a donation to the Red Cross, which aids in emergencies like these across the world.

Hmmm, I'd like some real features, to be honest. This is not very useful.

I believe mass gifting is "on the table", so to speak. Of course, that isn't saying much. There seem to be more requests for crafting, but I don't know if that's even "on the table".

 

On the table seems to mean: to be done after the IOS game is done.

 

That's interesting, because I believe both of these ideas were on the table before both iOS and raids were announced or even probably thought of.

 

Our iOS/desktop development is separate. We're still working on feature parity on the iOS app.

 

And getting parity is easier if you stop developing for non-IOS/desktop...

Sorry, but I'm getting a little cynical since I don't see much beyond beyond interface changes that don't help much. Although I have to give you props for some performance improvements that you did earlier, but I haven't seen much beyond that.

 

Our desktop/iOS development teams are completely separate, they aren't pulling any resources away from each other.

 

common mi7ch its time you guys think beyond ios, we have lots of android users. create a app for us also. it will help guys like me who play 70% of time on mobile

 

We are also working on an Android version of our apps.

There seems to be some confusion on raids. This thread says 26th (Thursday) which would be in keeping with all other raid events. But the raid tab says 29th to the 2nd.

Can you please clarify.
