what about seeing who is in the raid before joining? if you don't know the players, you can't be sure that they are going to do their fair share of the work. i have NO sympathy for those that are complaining about common drops from 100 raids when i only join a handful myself.

there are already at least 3 different threads about raid complaints. it appears that the forums will be bogged down by multiple threads about the same topic for the foreseeable future, to no avail.

Maybe that is because you didn't spend $500 to participate on the RAIDS. For those who do, many are figuring out the FACT - not an opinion - that it is a better reward to just buy items and skip the RAIDS if looking for rewards. The only advantage RAIDS have (unless you are able to get in a RAID with minimum actions) is the levels which depending on your goals and game plan may or may not be a good thing. Some might have the opinion that staying a lower level and getting stronger is better than gaining levels too fast.

And the fact that you only joined a handful is your choice. And my choice was to join over 80 and spend like $290. (I couldn't afford $500). I received 77 items for my investment, 2/3 of which were common. I realized after the RAIDS what a mistake that was as I could have skipped the RAIDS and purchased something like 92 items that were on sale at the time of the RAIDS that were like one or two points different from the superiors. Not only would I have obtained better items, I would not have helped a bunch of others who I am competing against obtain rewards from money I spent.

What about it? Leveling is not always the best thing. And in my specific situation leveling is NOT good.

If we/you/or anyone spends money that is our ,yours/their decision,no one holds a gun to anyone's head to spend or not spend, all anyone is guaranteed for spending real money on virtual things, are virtual items, and being they are not real ,tangible items, spending Real hard earned money, some of us should have our heads examined, I know I am spending less and less, having spent alot of money, not so much on raids ,but in the past I have,I am making my accounts work for me now so can spend less and less and less. No more spending on virtual items, for me,after all the hard work I put into my games, and then raids make a joke of that time and energy.

What is the point of that aggressive, looking for a fight statement? Is this what being a troll means? If you were directing your comment at me, let us be perfectly clear that I never said anyone forced me to do anything. I never said I wanted my money back or demanded a refund. I simply stated a FACT... and in case you need me to define that for you.....

    1. Something that actually exists; reality; truth:
    2. Something known to exist or to have happened:
    3. A truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true:

I stated that I had made a mistake spending on RAIDS and that I would have been better off investing in items. I completely owned my own actions and choices but also recognized the error of those choices which included spending on the RAIDS.

You seem to have a real issue with FACTS. Like if I tell you that when I started I bought an item for 170/60 stats and today for the same fps I can buy an item 476/215 and that has allowed new players who buy items an advantage over players who bought items 3 years ago. That is 100% fact. There is no opinion. Now if I say that is "unfair" or "players should be compensated who bought three years ago" that is an opinion.

FACT: 92 items that are equal to superior is better than 77 items (24 superior, 53 common)
OPINION: The exp from the raids is worth the difference in items OR the exp from the raids is not worth the difference in the stats and number of items.

I agree with Kirsten's statement that raids have made a joke of all the time and energy put into the accounts of long time players. This has been one of my main beefs with raids all along. They are only useful to help people speed level while gaining some new items of average quality. It doesn't foment the sense of loyalty to the game that only comes with time spent. And it doesn't level any playing fields...it tips the field towards the people with the biggest credit limit thus allowing someone to buy their way to the top. The game is fundamentally messed up and ONLY rewards the spenders...all others will be relegated to mediocrity.

I think at some point the directors of Kano had a sit down in their boardroom and asked "what do we want to do, what kind of customer base do we want to develop?" They needed to decide do we want to grow a user base that will spend $50/month or so, and have them for 10 years, or do we want the users that spend $250/month but are gone after a year?
It seems obvious to me which way they went.

Note to Kano...people can always earn more money but they will never get their time back. If you want a loyal customer base then you need to gear the games towards more daily playing and less towards binge spenders. ie better rewards for time spent actually playing.

Mitch, any chance we can get a stockpile filter for RAID items?

    Thanks!

more work for kano because of the raid hogs, ho hum. :( while we're at it, why don't we add filters for limiteds? i've always wanted to click on a thousand filters when looking through my inventory.

i just don't see the need for this. check out and see what you're using and go from there. does it really matter if they are raid boss drops or something else? i suppose if this is not difficult to do and won't take time away from anything else, that's okay by me. i just don't see the point.

I know you're joking, but there actually is a filter for Limited items.

It's cos I'm weird and like looking at data and statistics. ;)

Makes it easier for me to massage the data - without having to know if one of my multitude of devices are from Raid's or not - that's all.
