[LCN] RAID PARTY KILLERS

On Kong LCN, it seemed that with the new changes to bench raid killers, the "jerk" players found new ways to screw over raids. These players would attack the RAID until the raid party was just about dead. Then if the next player joined by doing an attack first, the raid perished and had to rebuild. This happened multiple times on several raids.

I know that certain players on this forum will post their typical judgmental, critical "advice" such as:

"People need to check first before attacking". Let me reply to that by saying the sad fact is, the standard rule is members who are part of a raid are expected to heal after attacking.... previously, there was no reason to worry about joining and killing a raid party with an attack. Of course, since this happened and people heard about it on Kong, players did start checking first. But old habits are hard to break and a few did forget and the raid party had been set up and they accidentally killed the raid party when joining the raid.

Another comment I am sure a few on here will make is "It is the raid owner's fault for who they invited". On Kong LCN, it is not like we have a lot of people to choose from who participate in RAIDS. And that list becomes shorter every month as more and more of the past RAID DESTROYERS keep deciding not to spend killing raids for a reward that is cheaper to just buy from Limited Items; And, they are tried of carrying raid after raid for players who do nothing but minimum. A lot of people try to help the tier 1 players by accepting them into their RAID if there is no information negative about them available. With so many alts and new accounts popping up on Kong LCN and lack of established players left in Kong LCN, sometimes it requires a risk to try and get that RAID finished.

Lastly. I am sure one of the responses I will get from a few trolls on the forum is also a RAID owner should kill their own raid - That is just the stupidest thing I have heard. Why should a person spend 4000-6000 energy to open a RAID, invite 29 people to help and then spend 75k stamina to do 300 million damage and approximately 36k energy to heal? For that, a player would be better off spending that 300 or so fps on 10 Limited Quantity Items. A Raid has 29 spots for people to help on the RAID not 29 spots to "Share Rewards With".

It is a real shame that once a Raid perishes that the players in the RAID abandon the effort on the RAID and 29 other people get screwed. It would be nice if more RAID owners were more selective on who they invited - however, probably close to 85-90% of the RAIDS on Kong LCN are opened to the public. So if a player is looking to be in multiple raids, you are going to have to take your chances with the ones posted public. Of course one HUGE suggestion on Kong LCN might be to open the Tier 2 and Tier 3 spots to the public but be very careful who you invite on tier 1 since it seems those are the ones doing all the RAID party killing or setting up to be killed.

@GOING TO CATCH DAVID : i totally agree. The question is who does that?
First : newbies...They don't really understand the game, they do it once, everybody will explain them, and it will be good after. Everybody was lvl1 one day.
Second : Computer frozen! Even if it's not very common, it can happen. You click, click, click..computer frozes..and the party is dead!
Third : The majority of the cases i've seen : naughty, crual, (i have to respect the rules of the forum, but id like to use other words..)..and cheaters! Most of these guys who "screw" raids are accounts..created just before raids start. And these accounts are...no longer used after the raids. Suspect isn't it??

i have a proposition to stop this phenomenom. If someone "screws" a raid => Kano should check if it's a second account (alt). if it is => they should ban/punish the 2 accounts. Im sure that a lot less raids would perish like this.

There were also those openly admitting they ran down the health on someone's raid because they didn't like that player. Isn't that just as bad if not worse since these were long time players doing it; not alts or new accts?

There is no simple solution. Just as everyone in the raid party should not suffer because of 1 idiot an entire section of players should not be banned from raids because of a few idiots.

As long as players have the desire to join every raid they can find the raid activity will never equal the concern expressed in the forum. If raid activity is not diminishing then are the raids really broken? Players can only do what is in their control and until they exercise that control there will be no changes.

I think they should put an 'idiot button' for the final attack before a raid is perished. Have it come up "this attack will perish the raid, do you wish to continue". That will prevent the raid from being perished by someone doing the one attack to open it.
As for the other comments, perhaps they should reduce the xp/attack as you do the min, but increase it as you do more beyond the minimum to entice people to do more and more. If the xp increased proportional to the amount actually done, especially beyond the minimum, it would be more lucrative to do more on one raid instead of spreading it out over several raids and only doing the least amount. Also they should do away with the bonus xp for joining a raid. I saw several raids that people did only one attack to get the bonus xp, then nothing else. That hurts the owner and all others trying to kill it.

And also, why punish all participants in a raid if it perishes? Why not just the dumb@ss that did it? Especially if they insert the idiot button, then it is clearly done intentionally so punish that person only. Then the others will still try to kill the raid without losing out on the xp.

if you're in over 100 raids each time, does it really matter if a handful of them get messed up? ever stop to think of why this might be happening? i don't have this problem myself except for once when i wiped a raid by accident, and i got listed for it even though i did a significant amount of damage (at least 10% of total) to it. it seems to me that it's the same players complaining over and over about how raids work.

Yeah, a lot of the players do more than 10%.... and not just on one or two raids. And why do the active players complain a lot???? Because a lot of players expect the high levels to kill the raids and somehow players like you can't get it through your thick skull that I can buy an item for 17 fps that is like 379/170 and do much better than when I spend 30 or 40 fps on a raid.... especially when that raid gets sabotaged and I end up with no item as no one wants to finish it after that happens. And after spending a ton on a raid, there is no guarantee no matter how much damage I do that I will even get superior which when looking at the item that was 17 fps early today, the superiors were not even close to as good as what was "on sale". The sale items are not that great right now as the one that expired today but one could just wait for the right time to spend $250 or $500 on items instead of dumping them on raids. It the calculations on what I spent on raids this time around, compared to the 77 items I got, 2/3 of which were common, I could have spent the exact same amount and got 86 items that were equal to superior. The item that was for sale was the Banana Mobile with 379/176. The superior items were 394/170. So considering that 53 were common and were around 187/137, it would have been much better to buy LQ items instead. So for those of who feel like we carry the rest of the people who do minimum and then wait for others to spend and finish the RAIDS, yeah.... we are frustrated and we will voice our concerns.

And to your question - ever wonder why this might be happening? Simple..... there are a few a@@ wipes out there that like to screw things up for other people and know they can hide behind their computers and get away with it.

You are 100% correct as it seems like no other platform has the same problems, style of game play, or issues that we seem to have on Kong. Game play is going to very different if you have a player base of 1 million players say on FB LCN verses 300 on Kong LCN.

I like the idea to have the minimum level of 500 to join. It won't stop every raid killer but it will combat their alts.

if someone only add stamina and health and little energy (assuming that they will recruit mob and buy items) in 4-5 days you can pass 500 levels. just by fighting and doing those lower bosses. level 1000 is like a plan but whole purpose of riads were to execute as an open event.

No matter what the obstacle is, a determined player will overcome it -- but it at least acts as a deterrent.

Minimum level of 500 AND the "idiot button" like @StoneCK said are 2 very good solutions.

The point was not to make it take someone a long time playing before they could join a RAID - the idea is to make it so that if an alt gets banned that it is not so easy to just make another..... adding mob on Kong LCN takes forever and buying items would require an investment. Most people are not going to make an alt and spend money on it to use it once or twice to screw up someone's raid and then get banned from RAIDS and spend on another.

Tbh I don't actually understand why a raid has the ability to die, not when you consider people are spending real hard earned cash on them.
It's all way too easy for someone to set up an alt in a couple of minutes...It's not so easy to earn a few hundred $$$.

it does all come back to better selection, not only of who is invited to the raid, but whose raid we join. If you are invited to a raid opened by someone you have hardly heard of, and it is full of tier ones that you have never heard of, chances are its a bad raid to join. This is from personal experience...shame on me!
