They could restart the event in 1-2 hours.

 

Why do people want to be compensated for for everything. Nobody "lost out", they just didn't gain because they weren't on the ball quick enough. Accept you were slack and move on.

 

What happened? What will be the compensations for this incident? (FPs, money, ...)
And, the most important question, what's the origin of this problem?
Is it because of people trying to hack/cheat?
If so, I really hope you're going to punish them quickly and strongly.

 

@Shaun Mannings : in which team do you play? If the incident make you lose the normal rewards you can expect thanks to a good result in SW (FP / money) then you need a compensation. That's the reason.

Not one of the top 10 teams and probably one who has lost out however, no, you do not need to be compensated for "expected" rewards, you have to work for them. If this means being on the ball and quick to react and take advantage of a situation, so be it. This is a free game and as such you should be grateful is is even here to suck up your spare time.

 

I did not get online until after the glitch. I should be rewarded for not taking advantage of the situation. Just give me unlimited SW tokens for an hour right after I use my daily stamina boost.

Disclaimer: The above statement was a joke and not meant to be taken seriously unless it results in my getting unlimited SW tokens for an hour then I am totally serious.

@RafeDavid : i totally agree with you. Either they have to stop this SW, or to give a compensation. We train/play hard to have a good ranking / reward, and the bug clearly had a big influence. If you were strong, with lots of players during the bug, you could take a big benefit/advantage of it. My team could be beaten by other who never beat us because of this. We need something to compensate, and an answer )

 

The bug happened the same for everyone though, so it was not super-unfair. Although it obviously sucks for those who had fewer people online than their competition. I also wonder if it is really that easy to just restart it, might be hard and/or risky in itself. So I say to just leave it, especially since teams seem to be roughly in their appropriate places.

I may be biased though, since we did well during the glitch.

But I am mostly puzzled by the fact, that they haven't even anouched it in news

 

@Aapje : it's very easy to say that when you're first. "Roughly in their appropriate places" => one team is clearly not. LOST are 23, and we beat them last time, without this bug. Now they're 3rd, with +50kWP than us!!! I've no problem with them (the bug is not their fault!) but clearly they took a huge advantage of it. Way more than us.

 

That is true, but we didn't have a huge number of players on. And I think that 1st spot is our appropriate place with FKN out of the picture. So I don't see how we got that much of an advantage. Although we probably will have an easier war than we would otherwise (but perhaps not, don't know how much strength other teams gained/lost).

But restarting it would also be unfair to people who planned to be on at the start of SW, but can't be on after the restart. So you would just be trading one unfairness for another....

 

True for ReD1, but i maintain that LOST took a huge advantage of it (if a LOST member reads me, once more i say it : no problem with you guys! just with this unfair bug). And i would have the same disgusted reaction if ReD2 had taken a huge advantage too.

 

I don't disagree, but you are at the exact same ranking now as you ended the last SW. With FKN out of the top, spot 5 would be more appropriate, but that is only 1 spot up. That's "roughly in their appropriate places" for you, IMO. TTK2 has a lot more reason to complain, since I expected them in the top-3.

Anyway, my point is not that this SW is fair or that everyone is in their exact right spot, but it is not THAT unfair. So I suggest asking Kano for some compensation instead of a restart that may mess things up a lot more.

 

Compensation is what i asked.
ReD2 has as much reasons too complain as Tk2 Aapje.
Don't watch only the rank, it's too easy. Watch the gap between opponents!!! ATAKU / THEM are just behind us, and we know they're stronger. So we could finish 7th/8TH instead of 6th!! Disgusting. That's all.

 

Interesting how long it has taken kano so far to give a response.

 

I saw you like a post by someone that asked for a restart, so I got confused. But compensation is fair.

I did see that the gaps are small, it will be tough for you. But if they give everyone some FP or something, they can make up for that.

@Dcasso I don't think Kano can just decide to compensate people on a whim, at least it will require some thinking if they want to do it, for who, how much, etc. It may also depend on how the war goes. But 'we will look into it'-response by kano would be a good idea.

And clearly yes : restarting would be a huge mess! I don't want that!
