[LCN] Using a Tablet gives you an advantage but what if you can only use a mouse?

This post is for all wannabe bounty hunters that don't have a Tablet but use a desktop/laptop with a mouse. I'd like their opinion on what they think regarding the unfair advantage Tablets users have over them. Personally, I am finding it near impossible lately to get a bounty. It never used to be so bad and a lot of effort is being applied but the results are getting slimmer and slimmer. If mouse users had to compare their actions to those using a Tablet, the first thing, besides the speed advantage is the fact that two hands are used instead of one. There is of course the advantage that the chances of a miss click behind the button are almost null and void on a Tablet too. It is then no wonder that Tablet users streak ahead on bounty kills and the bounties that go with them while mouse users are left clicking at an empty hole, hoping the Tablet would go away so they can come out to play. The bottom line is really the fact that it is an unfair advantage, the question then should be, can Kano do anything about it? Can the playing field be leveled? I wonder how many players have given up hunting because they try and get nothing for their efforts. Maybe the hit button could be made bigger... maybe the response lad time greater... I don't know but I do know that I'm getting to the point of well... bully for them, I may as well go into Real Estate and play Monopoly instead.

 

you may as well. this has been mentioned before, and according to the rules, this is not cheating. i still play the game, but i ignore the ones that use certain things to their advantage at the expense of those that aren't able to.

 

I'm not saying it's cheating mate, just an unfair advantage that's all. I could blame the advancement of technology but this is the way the world turns. Let the mobile version remain as it is but Kano could do something... after all it's just code. Another solution of course is that I keep up with the Jones's and go out a buy a Tablet and do what every one is doing with theirs and get mega bounties but I don't need or want a Tablet just to play a game, I'm happy with my laptop but who knows, if I do get one I won't be running to spend any money at Kano that's for sure

 

I love chasing the hit list but, i'm definitely a slow mover and a mouse user. There are times when it is really active that make me say wth is there a bot running or something? It's pretty frustrating but, what are you going to do? When I'm getting too frustrated with the list, I just leave off and come back to try later. From what I understand, once 15 bounties are taken by a player, that player goes on a delay so, that should help if you are going up against a person even if they have a touch screen.

 

Correct, but ~15 real bounties not the God bounties or whatever it's called in LCN placed by KANO, no delay there. At least from my experiences..

 

That's not right if the hitlist delay is not applied to godfather hits as it is for player-placed hits. I wouldn't know because I've never run into it. I just try to get what I can, but it's so hard to do with a touchpad, I don't even worry about catching a lot of hits anymore.
