what is a savings bond you ask? well here is my definition of it: you basically give the government money and they pay you back the money with a little bit of interest, so basically the opposite of a loan in a way. but in this case you give davy jones however much you selected and select the amount of time you want it for then the money will accumulate over time.

how would this work for all games:

step 1: you select one of the preset amounts 1tril, 10 tril, 100tril, 1quad,10 quad, 100 quad, and 1quantillion(quant) into a savings bond.(i go up to i quant because that would mean that nobody would be able to do that one and would make some people determined to get access to it hence more activity/ also sorta said it because then there isnt a single person who has access to everything in the game and as some have stated before they want something that nobody can get yet so there it is)

step 2: after you select the designated amount you can select how long you want it to be for. the options would be 1 month with a 10% increase. 3 months 50% increase. 6 months 150%increase. and 1 year 250% increase. after you select what one you want then you click the end/finish button, then the savings bond has been created.

things you need to know about the savings bond. advised you read before you start one:

1. if you take out money early you either take it all or you dont touch it. but if you do decide to take the money out it would give you a warning saying underneath(or could be above)-

2. 75% of the money will be a penalization for ending the bond early, if you wish to take some money out, you will only be able to take all or nothing.(or something along the lines of that)

3. you would be able to have more then 1 savings bond open at a time.(up to 3) also the numbers(%s) for the bonds i dont think are high enough considering how much income we get per day and that adds up over a year so it might not be worth it. so if you agree worth the numbers alright but if you think they should be higher post the number and why.

4. if you are not active within a 2 weeks time you then lose all money invested. NO refunds

(these numbers are not based off of a 365 day year. it is based off of 30 day months. meaning that year is 360 days. that wont affect the number much but still its off a little.)

important: the percentages most likely will not be the selected amounts that kano chooses so keep that in mind.

I've been considering adding a similar idea few months back, but figured it would only mess up the game for most of the players.

Not everyone is superb rich and can manage to do lots and lots of jobs. Take the highest levels on Kong's LCN, with XXX quadrillions on their bank account. Put that onto a saving account, and farewell other players.

Perhaps the amount of money that can actually generate can be limited? This idea has some potential, but has to be considered globally so it wont destroy the market flow of the game.

I like the idea of penalties and taxation.

 

you have to be active to get the money if you arent then farewell to it, and the reason it is set up the way it is, is so that it benefits all lvls low and high

 

also the amounts are listed in the initial post you cant just select however much money you want, doesnt work that way.

the numbers are all listed for what you receive. dont really think you understand the idea that much, you cant just take out money whenever you please doesnt work that way, you either leave money in there and be active or take money out and receive a 75% reduction of total amount that had been saved up so nobody can abuse this. this isnt something that people who buy tons of FP can abuse... if anything the thing that gets abused the most is the loto just go look at the top players in viking clan if you dont believe me lol

but if you have any questions/concerns ill explain this as best i can, ill put an edit in here because there has already been discussion on this before but different thread this is what the best idea was and was discussed to be best way youll see what i mean once i get the thread.

this isnt a stock or anything like that though this is savings bonds and the idea revolves around them and nothing else lol.

also the money is independent per account you cant transfer money not sure where you got that idea only way to do so that i can think of is bounties but then you have to be quick enough to log out log into other acount then catch bounty rinse repeat or use another browser but you still have a high risk of others getting bounty especially on FB bounties go up as quick as somebody snipes em.

and to have savings bond stay active then you lose all money so you would have to log into all your alts to keep them active enough so then you dont lose the investment, and logging into multiple accounts lets say 10 is going to raise a flag more then likly with kano saying something isnt right there

might be misunderstanding what you are saying so could you explain a little more

 

i dont know guess it depends on the way you look at it there will alwasy be a way to cheat and only way people could do what your saying is with 3 accounts so they could heal put bounty have other account kill go back to first account heal then second to bounty third to kill.

i know there are some out there that would do it but once you see all those bounties going up the platforms arent dead there are still people playing daily and when bounties start to go up for hours on end your not going to get them all others will start to jump in and start to get em.

 

i think something like this would be good, but it has been brought up before (earning "interest" on money that you have stashed away in your hoard), so it's probably not going to happen.

Kano shot that one down years ago about the hoarding of money and letting it grow interest.. Think about it if you have someone who just logs onto the game for a few mins act like they are doing something with a cash cow account. Then they would be able to participate in this feature if your saying the only way for anyone to be able to do this is they have to be active. So you take an alt active cash cow account they do this over and over eventually they will have enough money to have the main account wait to catch someones bounty to transfer money over to their main account to raise others bounties or to annoy someone. Sorry seen things like this done in other games caused way to many issues. So it's a 1 star for me.

 

I'm not sure investment banking should be a priority on a fighting game.

 

Sorry to put the kibosh on this one, but this is an idea that's been brought up a few times before and the purpose of the bank is to keep your money safe, not to accrue more via interest or saving bonds. I like the effort that has been put into this idea, but the bank is very singular in its purpose.

well worth a shot of trying to get one of my older ideas in, and man thats a boring thing lol bank is pretty pointless as of now except for achievements nobody has any incentive to put money in there after they get em all
