[LCN] Raid Boss Walkthrough and Feedback Thread

    For those that want to know for comparison sake: I joined 6 raids, the last one just ended.

    I averaged 86302 in damage and averaged 4875 per heal. (Considerably lower than the last raid boss averages which are in my previous post)

    Average XP 6057 / 20 stam atk's

    Care to guess on how many superior weapons I was randomly rewarded with??? A BIG FAT ZERO! All weapons were regular!

    Straight from TGIF> This upcoming Monday, May 18, is a holiday here in Canada so the Kano crew will be out and enjoying the sunshine. Not to worry, we’ll have our nose back to the grindstone promptly on Tuesday!

    well, i must say the raids could be really better if not so many party killers. And if get one killed means spend 20 000 stan on one i think the best is ignore this thing and keep on regular bosses that give me many more itens to arm my mob using less stam and are not a pain to do. or only join private partys and be away fron jobs chat. Any way, raids only get me weaker for my lvl as i'm low and have to get tons of lvls up on one to really help in some way.

    So does that mean if there was a mess up with the raids and its not our fault will they add an extra day to all for them missing today and making the issue at hand with health and what not, i understand a holiday then the raids should have been put on hold so they could answer or fix anything since these are a limited time event. It would only be nice of them now if there was a problem we will lose a whole 24 hrs on these raids and some parished that might have been killed today if things was fixed in a timely manner this is really bad business if you got a live even you need a live operator to look over any live event problems bad timeing and management is how i feel sorry if i seem rude, it just seems bad enough we have to deal with them gone over the weekend which is over half the life of raid and if problems happen we lose 48 hrs of time on these which aint right either. they should start earlier in the week so there is support there to answer any questions now a issue with raids and healing is 3 days old basically the life of the raid. not fair at all

    On one of the ZS World boss from time to time we can see one Kano staff touching Zombie Biebers leg, considering this, I only have one question left about this new boss: Mitch, its that you on the chair?

    To give a general update, I am meeting with the developers later today to do a review of this Raid Boss and another check through the numbers. If it is determined that something was wrong on our end with the numbers (which there has been no indication of so far) then we will of course discuss appropriate compensation, just like the last time we had an issue with the Raid Boss. :)

    I'll post the summary of the meeting and our plans for the next Raid Boss when it is over.

    Edit:

    I've also seen some more theorizing in this post which I will clarify: Yes, the Health of the Raid Boss does change from event to event, however the amount done on Heal to the Party is based on the total Health of the Party and is not set value. The percent of the total Party Health that is returned on Heal is static and has not changed since the first event. Also the Health of the Raid Boss does not effect anything else in this manner.

    I asked about compensation for the screw up in a ticket...

    "Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. We have looked into the matter and for the current bosses have decided that it is best to leave the boss unchanged.

    However we thank you for your feedback and we will certainly be keeping it in mind as we work towards the next event.

    Sorry Mi7ch, I simply don't believe this, since none I have spoken with have been in a raid with the same healing power as last raid season, and since you upped the health of the raid, it requires a lot more healing.
    I've done way fewer raids this season, since they are working worse, and the drops are (at least for me, 2 sup, 16 com for between 10 to 70 mill pr raid) terrible, but even so, I still have used the same amount of energy refills even though I have used fewer stam refills.

    You can still be social with the ones you trust to do the right thing, going public is pretty much a crap shoot, you have no idea who is gonna jump on, even a high level might just take spot and do nothing , Take your time and pick the right players and ya don't even have to bother filling the lowest tier, and don't be in such a rush to kill them ,just to open another and get all stressed about getting keys and getting it killed off. Be smart when ya socialize. Keep track of raid killers , and list the crap out of them.

    thus the point he making i think is that you dont get punished for raid death it should stop in the red and force someone to heal before they attack a certain percent ratio of attack and heals which 3 att to 1 heal ratio if not met no longer able to attack.

    Hey Mi7ch, Thanks for checking in, i hope you had a good extended weekend:

    While I appreciate your clarification, im still left with cloudy insight. My clarity is best found with numbers. I posted my actual Raid boss statistics from both this raid, and last month's raid. Your concept of there was no change/effect in healing is not accurate. Please feel free to message me and I can furnish the raid boss direct links, that pretty much have the same players in the raid from last month and this month for comparison. My healing ability across the board on every raid i entered was down 30% or more... Every one of them.

    I was getting roughly 1.75 attacks to every heal last time. More like 1.1 to every heal this time. I'm afraid something has gone wrong, simple as that.

    yeap and by time they see it we will miss out basically on the whole raid event, when some of these boss's could have been defeated but with about 5 days in dont leave much time and its a shame its went so long without issue being addressed. And also i wanna say sorry if im coming off rude .

    Well I was addressing the ""social"" part of his post, and
    it does suck that everyone loses out on a raid when someone kills the raid health.

    I have an update for everyone regarding this previous Raid Boss:

    During the meeting we dug into the numbers and the change logs again and found that everything was in line with previous Raid Bosses. There was no indication that anything was done incorrectly with the numbers or the back-end development of this Raid Boss.

    Something that we tossed around that we can do going forward is look at streamlining and "normalizing" future Raid Bosses by having a set amount of Boss Health and Attack. If we do this then upcoming Raid Bosses will not see the usual increase in difficulty from event to event and things should be a bit more normalized. This also means that Superior rewards will have to be made slightly weaker to compensate. We will definitely make sure that the rewards are worth it, but if the events do not get harder every time then there will not be a large week over week increase in stats (we will of course make sure these stats stay relevant to the game as time goes on).

    Also we are going to be looking at increasing the XP payouts for June's Raid Boss both in LCN and Zombie Slayer (where similar high level XP issues are being reported).

    Then why was my ability to heal reduced by over 30% if everything was inline with previous the raid boss?
