What happens when a defeated boss expires?

lol but that would have involved reading something?!

 

Where are you seeing this message and how are you getting into this state? Below is an example on my end of things when collecting on a boss you helped on. Am I missing something?

1. View Boss to Collect from Boss List


2. Collecting my Reward via the "Collect Reward" button


3. View Results of this Boss Battle via the "View Result" link

 

You can click on the View Result link for an expired boss. It then says "You have already collected reward." Apparently, this is a bug/lie.

 

Then should not the message be changed to " you have missed out on your rewards" instead of "the rewards have been collected"?

Yes Smack did say there is no auto collect but then the message needs to be changed so people do not get mislead by this simple phrasing which should be able to be changed quite simply. (good to know he is a developer)

 

I would prefer to call this a "bug" and not a "lie"

Ok I think I see the scenario here. I'll do some testing with expired bosses and post any info/changes back here. Thanks for helping clarify this.

 

I am not sure how I get into this state but from what I have ascertained through out the rest of this thread is that the boss owner has either opened a new boss before I have collected, or they have opened the same boss next level quicker than they should have. I really don't know. I have seen it in both PC and VC.

Seth if you read through the posts fully and understand what is being asked, you will realise that your comment is redundant. It is being researched (as stated by Smack "Ok I think I see the scenario here. I'll do some testing with expired bosses and post any info/changes back here. Thanks for helping clarify this.") and I was merely inquiring whether there had been an update. If you do not understand the question then you cannot reply with a correct answer.

 

And further to this there are a number of people enquiring about "expired bosses" which do not incorporate the 3 common screen shots which have been supplied earlier in the thread.

No problems. There have just been some people who have not understood what was being asked and you unfortunately you were the last one to break the camels back, so to speak. All is good.

 

I'll ask Smack about it today, see where he is.

 

This got lost in the shuffle of day to day I'll see if we can't get this better addressed this week.

 

An update was just pushed that will correct the messaging when Viewing the Results of an expired boss. It should now look something like this:
