I am curious, your battlestrength on the profile page adds in your skills, loadout and accumulated weapons/mates/other to give you a total sum of your attack and defense "power" ok heres the problem even accounting for the random of critical hit in a battle there are examples of some examples of people with a larger battlestrength losing to people with considerably lower battle strength, any thoughts or hidden multiplyers Mi7ch?
Battle strength is items used in battle, but not the allocation of skill points to defense is why losing. Mitch won't toss out any multipliers/formulas BTW.
I did not expect a formula from Mi7ch but more a acknowledgement that there was another factor we cant see. your skill points are the top most factor in the list that makes up your total battle strength, at least in PC it shows them as the first of all items added for total strength
Of course they show up there, but in no way is that contributed to your warrior/weapons total, which that page is about.
you are incorrect, check your math and add everything but your skills, you will see your skillpoints are part of your total attack
OK, it adds up there correctly, what meant though, it's not used for same part in the algorythm to determine strength.
That is an interesting topic and i got an interesting calculation to share with u guys, im also interested in ur opinions on that. So throughout my 500 days playing LCN on Kong I have lvled with a lot of different players, i was always asking them about their fight strength and skill point allocation to find out more about what really contributes to a fight endresult. Now we all know that fight strength is a constant factor, it is a number that is fixed. But how much do skill points in attack/defense add to the fight strength? My calculation based on lvling with partners experience is that: 1 skill point = approximately 30 fight strength points. If u add this value of ur skill points to ur fight strength and compare it with that of ur rival u always get the correct endresult of a fight. Personal loadout (the 4 items u can equip) count as skill points too if u ask me, there may be a multiplier in there tho that Kano wont tell us. So imo the endresult of a fight is calculated based upon the fight strength of the opponents, and skill points in att/def count as 30 fight strength points. The endresult also varies cause of the critial hit bonus by up to 20%. I could be totally wrong on this one, but at least its an interesting thought.
do you see what I am getting at tho, if this xxxx is mt total strength - the critical hit factor I should be able to determine by battle strength alone if I would beat a opponent. but since thats not the case then I fully expect Mi7ch to chime in and say, hey you guys are right there is more to your battle strength you guys cant see
your skill point allocation seems to make more of a difference then your actual item strength total, I have been 50k battlestrength over a opponent won the critical hit and lost the fight.this tells me that even tho skills are added into your battlestrength they are A: a multiplyer or B: similar to arena a set point giving bonus boosts to att and def after battlestrength is calculated
yes George, also i have 12500 skill points in attack now and when i drop all equipment i dont deal much less dmg or am significantly weaker than before. seems like the more skills u have in att/def, the more irrelevant personal loadout (the 4 items u can equip) becomes.
When ya figure it all out just let me know,I don't do the calculating thing, if I am weaker I craft add to attack or def or health and blamo stronger
In all fairness I have fairly 'high' overall strengths on Lcn but on Lcn someone who is weaker than me in overall strength but has more skills allocated on attack than I have on def can actually beat me if they are within 60-70k of my totals (60-70k doesn't sound very much I know but it takes alot of work to get that amount on your totals). A little while ago it was noticed that skills allocation on def and att became much more important on Lcn. The critical Attack 'thingy' apparently is a fun factor thrown in.
