What happens when a defeated boss expires?

You can save the links for defeated bosses for a while, so you can collect when convenient (to level up when you want), but after a while it expires. When you open it then, it says: rewards already collected. My questions:
- Do you automatically get the exp/money when it expires? It seems so.
- Do you get the item drops when it expires? It doesn't show any rewarded items in the boss feed.
- When does it actually expire? It doesn't seem to be 4 days after the boss was opened. Is it a certain number of days after it was defeated?

These questions are primarily for Mi7ch, but if anyone else knows the answer, that would be great too.

 

Are you talking about regular bosses? BTW Kano is closed till Tuesday, Family day or something in Canada.
From my own experience and memory, I don't save regular bosses, and they do expire, not sure when , which is why I collect right away,cause I did lose a few way back when. I also do not believe you get the reward automatically unless you collect.

The boss will expire after the timer runs out, and not defeated, if it is your boss ,you can use Favor points to reopen it ,but that is for regular bosses.

 

I've never let the rewards expire for a defeated boss but I would think once they are gone they are gone. You don't get them. I know that's what happens in other areas of the game such as the Arena when I've forgotten to collect them.

 

You must collect on a defeated boss within 3 days after it is killed. (If this hasn't been changed.) That is if the previous boss of this kind has not been opened again with the new level. The 3 day limit to collect is similar to the Inner Circle Earnings. Those must also be collected within 3 days or you lose out there.
Since bosses regenerate after 2 days (48 hours) and can be reopened again, old links will no longer work. This was done to prevent cheaters from taking old boss links, changing them up just a bit and then getting on them when they haven't been opened to clan.

 

rewards on defeated bosses do expire but i cant remember the time frame to save my life,lol...

 

If the owner of the boss opens a new 1 from that location it will be expired...I've had some expire when this happens after the 3 days but I have also had some that have not expired after 5 days probably meaning a new boss has not been opened by the owner in that city.

 

Not in FB PC you don't. That used to be the case but now you can collect inner circle earnings whenever you want and not lose them.

 

From PC Help on FB "Don't forget to check your Inner Circle page regularly though, as uncollected earnings expire after 3 days."

Mitch? The blue links in the help area on FB have not worked in a long time. Will this be fixed eventually so that you don't have to scroll down to find information?

 

This is on the FB Help section under World Bosses - Once a Boss has been defeated you have seven days to collect your reward, so remember to check your Boss page regularly for updates!

 

The time you have to collect rewards varies a bit but here is the max time you have to collect your boss rewards:
World Bosses (all games): 7 days
Viking Clan (Co-op Bosses): 2 days (48 hrs)
Pirate Clan (Co-op Bosses): 2 days (48 hrs)
Mob Wars: LCN (Co-op Bosses): 2 days (48 hrs)
Zombie Slayer (Co-op and Single Bosses): 1 day (24 hrs)

If you do not collect your rewards within this time period they will be lost forever. They do not auto collect for you.

How about inner circle earnings Smack? I know in PC you can go for days or even a week without collecting them. Probably in VC also.

The weird thing is that when you open an expired boss it does say that "the rewards have been collected".

So the system says that it does auto-collect, even though it apparently doesn't. Hence my confusion on this.

 

i don't know for sure, but i believe that as long as you log in each day, you don't have to collect your earnings. you only lose them if you don't log in for 3 days.

 

No you have to collect them. If you don't they pile up but they don't automatically go into your account.

 

You have to collect them at some point. After 3 days, whether you have logged in or not, you lose them if you haven't collected them during that time frame. At least, I think that's how it works.

 

For inner circle earnings you do not have to collect. Simple visit the earnings page everyday or once every 3 days they will carry on adding up. I don't collect mine for weeks so I have a nice sum to collect when I do.

 

Yes, I have been wanting to get a clear and concise explanation of this as well. For expired bosses only.

Do we miss out on our rewards, even though the system states that "the rewards have been collected"?
or, Have we actually collected them?

I know I could experiment with drops from one boss - Take the number of boss helper drops prior to the boss being killed, do not attack any others of those sort, and then wait until I get the expired message, but I do not want to miss out on the drop even to get unequivocal proof. We will just need to wait til the 'holiday' is over.
