Thank you for the heads up! Will this affect those of us that play through the Kanoplay Website with the FB login? I am confident KpS2 won't be affected...

Thanks for sharing the problems every software company faces in keeping up with the software platform they use. The writing was on the wall April 30, 2014, and the FB announcement does not seem "new." Of course, what are the benefits of API 2.x for KanoApps and pre-existing players comes to mind??? Seems to be existence as is and more device interoperability issues as FB seeks to be everywhere except your toilet bowl (I did not say seat ...). While the whole backroom stuff is interesting, ultimately it is of no concern to me. What is of concern, is the "existence" as it is becoming, to ignore changes requested by your customers, that are not designed "in house" that are designed to monetize these games. Thrilling!

Facebook and not Kong/Armor or KPS. So other platforms also bear the costs of this, while not being the cause of it.

Thanks for the words of support, folks! :)

To clarify a couple things, there won't be any interruptions to the games on Facebook while we are working on the update; they should all continue working smoothly until the change over.

As some have mentioned there is an alternative that you can try if you are worried about using Facebook canvas to play your games.

@Kirsten as Aapje said, when I refer to "one version" of the games, I am talking about Facebook.

Thanks for the info. I am happy your letting us know this. Cents I am sure many of the other games on FB, they are not letting people know about this. I do hope your able to get things changed over in time. Cents it's not always easy to do.

Kind of hard to say FB did it with short notice :) Launched a subsite on fb about it back in April 2014, and have a very detailed page about it (compared to the standards). https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/upgrading

Good luck tho, but with 2½ months, it seems you still have a decent amount of time :)
