WOW just WOW in the VC raid event, there are some not healing at all and it is the same ones jumping on all the raids,and just attacking, this really has to be looked at.
Which brings us back to the original topic of this thread. The only one way to address this issue of healing freeloaders on these bosses is to institute some type of sliding scale that doesn't allow you to attack again until you heal the boss sufficiently relative to the damage you have done.
it's sad that players are either deliberately sabotaging raids or just plain too stupid to never heal. what if no one ever healed the raid? then it would never be defeated.
well i can say its def a result of the reduced exp for healing and the increase in attack exp...i havent knocked bosses into the red but if i go thru my boss list and see ones fully healed ill hit it till right before it hits yellow for exp....maybe im wrong for doing it and maybe not but if people want to post their bosses in the job chat open to anyone than they have to expect some selfish people in their raid groups....no way to avoid it if its open for all
You can go into the red ,and in the last few hours that is how we dealt with the player who just attacked and did not heal any of the raids he got on, a bunch decided to attack the last few bosses that were still around heal attack and leave it exactly where he was leaving it, but we all had the understanding to do it that way and he would have had to heal if he wanted more. Even though we had drilled it into everyones head to leave a raid health full for days when done attacking, cause at this point bosses with less than 10 hours were being posted in chat and everyone was jumping on them and he had the same access to them. We had to out think him,while he kept saying he was a pirate and pirates steal , pffffft, no we are people playing a pirate game.
Now that is smart but it also leaves the idiot the chance to just say screw it and kill the boss and start it over again.
It was just a last resort we came up with in the last hours of a few bosses since anyone healing it had him on it immediately like a sniper , we had low levels healing and him all over the boss,not fair to them at all.
Word to the wise , do not go public, saw you posting your boss all over chat,ya gotta know the people you invite,it will not be 100 % fool proof but it will help alot.
I thought of that but he wanted that drop also so he wouldn't kill it. The only good thing to say for him was that he wasn't trying to perish raids.
I can see your point on that Old Salt. But it still takes a risk of someone not paying attention when they come on and just hitting it and accidentally kill it off. I saw two or three bosses i was on people hitting at the same time red lining the hell out of it.
